William "Hawk" Birdshead moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, William "Hawk" Birdshead, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources.

The particular problem is that Wikipedia has very strict requirements for biographical articles about living persons (see WP:BLP). All biographical information has to be sourced! The main body of your article is completely unsourced; it cannot be published in this form. Please provide references for all the information about education, career etc.

Here is one additional reference you may want to use for his work on the suicide prevention organization: <ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.indianz.com/News/2013/07/30/native-sun-news-student-honore.asp|title=Native Sun News: Student honored for suicide prevention work|author=Karen Eagle|date=30 July 2013|website=Native Sun News}}</ref>

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CheyenneArapahoTribes, let me be more clear. You cannot include material in this article that is not sourced to reliable sources. The entire biographic paragraph is unsourced at the moment; this is not acceptable for biographic articles - see WP:BLP. As you seem unwilling to improve the article in draft, I have removed the unsuitable material for now. If you (or that logged-out user, whom I suspect is you as well) keep re-adding it, I will have to a) put the entire article up for deletion, and b) ask an administrator to prevent you from further disrupting the encyclopedia, presumably by way of a block. - Please feel free to discuss this issue further with me, here or at my talk page. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 23:18, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Indigenous Life Movement

edit

The article Indigenous Life Movement has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Undersourced and dubious notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at William "Hawk" Birdshead, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Apparently I neglected to warn you for the promotional and inadequately-sourced edits on your talk page, or this would be a block notice. You have been warned by other editors, both here and on article talk pages. This account is clearly used only to promote this individual, and you don't seem to pay attention to warnings or Wikipedia policies. - CorbieVreccan 21:02, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for Continually misusing Wikipedia for self-promotion, disruptive and deceptive editing, including WP:LOUTSOCK, pretending to speak for an entire tribe, and accusing editors in good standing of vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  - CorbieVreccan 19:45, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
