your question edit

the question you asked here: Wikipedia_talk:Identifying_reliable_sources#Cocatalog.loc.gov belongs at WP:RSN, not on the Talk page for the guideline. Good luck! Jytdog (talk) 10:17, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The US Copyright Office reports what just copyright holder register with them. It is widely considered true that the US Copyright Office reliably records what copyright holders tell them. Disney is the primary source that might make mistakes in its filings, but that does not reflect on the Copyright Office itself. There may or may not be a better source of production information about Disney shows than Disney itself, each would have to be evaluated. So far the Copyright Office has been the most reliable source of production codes we have found. Geraldo Perez (talk) 13:40, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Virtual Families edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Virtual Families, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Largo Plazo (talk) 12:54, 8 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

August 2014 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did to List of Dog with a Blog episodes, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. AussieLegend () 10:54, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please note that all future episode content require inline citations. Hidden notes such as "If you change this to a season 2 episode please check the internet there are many good sources providing this", which you added in this edit are not inline sources. Please do not ignore notes indicating that citations are required,[1] Requests such as this should not be included in articles at all. --AussieLegend () 11:05, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Disney DDR.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Disney DDR.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 02:01, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 6 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Channel Edition, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Cheetah Girls. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
