Hello Bwmodular, welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. You can learn more on the how to edit page. The naming conventions and style guide pages are also useful. There is a sandbox which you can use to experiment in.

If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. Angela 22:59, Sep 11, 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to my list of pages with misspellings. I've updated the list so that it should be more accurate, and as a result the pages you fixed were removed from the list. Just wanted to let you know that even though your changes aren't visible anymore, your help is appreciated. Wmahan. 20:21, 2004 Apr 6 (UTC)

Hi, I thought I should say thanks again for the great work you've been doing with my list. I've been busy lately and so haven't done much, but I really appreciate your help. Wmahan. 02:53, 2004 Apr 28 (UTC)

Article Licensing edit

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

No problem. *grins* Also, it's "New World monkey", not "New World Monkey". What is your interest in Primates? Care to join WP:PRIM? - UtherSRG 17:43, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)

Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight edit

As a member of WikiProject Comics, I thought you might be interested in the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight we have set up. Please feel free to vote on the articles listed, although bear in mind that a vote for a particular article means you are pledging to help improve the article. The goal of the collaboration is to improve articles to Featured Article status, as we feel Comics is under-represented in that area. Thanks for your help. Indonesia Portal edit

Thanks very much, I didn't go to bed for that, hahahaha. Take care -- Imoeng 22:38, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Will you vote for the featured portal candidate? :P Take care -- Imoeng 11:38, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sorry to keep bothering you. But have you considering to join Indonesian WikiProject?? Cheers -- Imoeng 11:45, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Indonesia Collaboration edit

Hey there, I just want to ask for your suggestion. As we all know, there are just few "good" Indonesian articles, which means lots of effort is needed to improve them. What do you reckon about this collaboration plan? Please put any suggestion and respond on the WikiProject's talk page. Cheers, take care -- Imoeng 11:56, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Collaboration edit

The new collaboration page has been created. For now, it is a "collaboration of the week" with standard rules and stuff, which later we can decide for any changes. But now, lets start nominating articles (one article for each person!) and voting. Please take a look at the page. Cheers -- Imoeng 11:19, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kerupuk edit

Well spotted. So basically, there are three articles, Kroepoek, Keropok, and Kerupuk. Kroepoek is no longer used, cause it is the old spelling method. Now its just Keropok, which I think you are right, its Malaysian, and Kerupuk. Becuase they've created it first, then redirect Kerupuk to Keropok is the best option. Cheers -- Imoeng 21:00, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Indonesian portal edit

Currently, all the featured things are controlled with a somewhat sophisticated plan. See Portal:Indonesia/ST_List. So what we should update regularly are just the DYKs and news. And, umm, I think thats it. Oh, if you have time, please participate on Wikipedia:WikiProject Indonesia/Collaboration#Nominees Cheers -- Imoeng 11:37, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The small images are good, except for the project box, cause the Indonesian map is slightly moved, oddly. Probably you could think about that. :P But its great though. Cheers -- Imoeng 12:11, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
What do you think about it now? Something has to be sacrificed... Cheers -- Imoeng 13:58, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tourism in Indonesia todo edit

Hey there how are you? Umm, could you explain about "accomodation type"? Is it like, hotel, apartment, villa and stuff or something different? Cheers -- Imoeng 09:52, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah that is pretty cool, so the information is really complete. However with more information entered, there is a higher chance for people to look that as a "commercial" or the NPOV is disputed. But probably if we don't name a company or stuff like that, it will be alright. Okay, I'll work on it, cheers -- Imoeng 11:06, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, what if you make the skeletons first? So there will be no edit conflict. Take care -- Imoeng 11:06, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Garuda edit

Cool! :-) I don't know about vectorimages.com either. I saw your question there. So let's see if it is allowed, then we can put the image in our project. — Indon (reply) — 08:33, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well I can't see any word to describe that you can't edit it. Also, I reckon everything is in public domain here, soo, umm, yeah. So that is why, I reckon just edit it first, then upload it, if people say we can't use it, just delete it. Ahahaha, but its nice to have that image though. Cheers -- Imoeng 13:48, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Good point. But I'm looking forward to it though. Cheers -- Imoeng 14:02, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Umm, could you tell me where is the difference? I've tried to replace the garuda image with that image, but the background is still white. Cheers -- Imoeng 08:53, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you look at your sandbox carefully. The Garuda image still has white background. Cheers -- Imoeng 10:16, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ahh, probably its just my computer. But its strange so we should really finish this issue. I'm going to ask the other guys. Btw, I may having a wikibreak, as I'm very tired these days from editing on Wiki. So, I won't be active as usual. Take care -- Imoeng 10:34, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well yeah, but I'm very sure that you guys can contribute more than I do. Okay, until we meet again. Cheers -- Imoeng 10:42, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Let me try to put the image in the project page. — Indon (reply) — 13:12, 4 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikiproject Indonesia Newsletter edit

WikiProject Indonesia has grown incredibly! Two months ago, when the project was created, there were only two members, but now, we have got over 20 members, and hopefully it will keep increasing. Because of this large number, now WikiProject Indonesia has it's own newsletter, which will be delivered every week on Monday morning, around 22:00 (UTC). If you have any idea and suggestions, please do not hesitate to contribute to the next newsletters. We also need to find a better banner for the newsletter, so just post it on project's talk page. With your help, we can reach the even the impossible goal!
"Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita runtuh"
What's new?
Several ways to increase the interactions between editors have been proposed. For now, the best solution would be the IRC Channel just for WikiProject Indonesia. Please go to #wikipedia-id if you have had experiences with IRC Channels. Or read the instructions at Wikipedia:IRC.

Three new barnstar design have been proposed! If you find a great editor with excellent contributions to Indonesia-related articles, give him/her a barnstar, or maybe two or three! See the barnstars at Wikiproject Indonesia Barnstars.

Articles improvements
The previous two weeks were maybe the best and tiring week for some of us. On the good side, we have got a new Good Article, which is Toraja. Congratulations for all editors who have involved in the expansion. Yet we have failed to get two Good Article status, which are Tourism in Indonesia and Indonesia. However with the spirit of 1945 we will always accomplish many things!

Starting this week (October 17), the collaboration durations have been extended, so now we can collaborate to improve a particular article for two weeks straight. Please leave any recommendations or suggestions on the collaboration talk page.

Many thanks to MartinBotII, a state-of-the-art Martinp23's bot for delivering the newsletter

Java collaboration edit

Hi Bwmodular/Archive 1! Starting today, the Indonesia Collaboration is Java. Come along and help make this an article worthy of the world’s greatest island. There’s a suggested to-do list on the the talk page to which you can add, or just pick a task. All sorts of tasks are required, Images, Citations, Research, Copy Edit; you name it, it needs to be done – this important article needs your help!! WikiProject Indonesia Newsletter edit

Last week, two more members have joined the project, and really boost the progress of articles editing. Danny Yee and Lestari, welcome to the project, hopefully you will enjoy your stay. So, we officially have got 26 members!

More than 440 articles have been tagged with the WikiProject Indonesia template, well done to all editors who have contributed this far. Also, while copy-editing is a very useful thing to do, researching and expanding the article, or maybe one or two sections would be extremely useful, because it is the goal of the collaboration, expanding and getting a good article status.

Articles improvements
We have got another Good Article nomination! Congratulations to all editors, especially Indon, who have improved it significantly, maybe you can give six barnstars. So, with the nomination, we officially have had four good articles. Hopefully we can get plenty good articles in the future, or even featured articles.

The last collaboration was not a huge success, the Pulau Dewata is still a "start" article and has not improved much. However, seems like the collaboration spirit is back and Java has improved gradually, thanks to all editors.
