Hello Bth. Look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Elements for what I've done about the molar volume of gases.

(Later) Please have a look at the ongoing discussion on molar volumes, STP and footnotes at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Elements. I would like to hear your opinion.
Herbee 07:43, 2004 Mar 13 (UTC)

(Still later) I've dropped the matter; mav is less than enthousiastic.

License ? edit

Hi, could you tell me the license of Image:SF Legion of Honor.jpeg ? Thanks in advance. Tipiac 21:12, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Hi! I'm working on the same Wikipedia:Untagged Images project. I'm looking at Image:PalaceofFineArts.jpeg. I suspect you took these photos yourself (and they're great!). If so, please mark them with one of our fabulous Wikipedia:Image copyright tags? If the images are your intellectual property, and you want to release them in the great blue yonder, you probably want to use either GFDL, CC or PD tag. Thanks! jengod 21:03, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

Article Licensing edit

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

Badger edit

Hello Brendan! How are you? I swear the badger mascot was absolutely nothing to do with me, although I was glad that everyone else had clearly come round to my way of thinking. :) --Nick Boalch ?!? 18:15, 11 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I just wanted you to know that I noticed you started the article on 24. I love you. The article is great and now has all this stuff with the whole cast and list of characters. The best show on earth.

Re.: Grumpy Geeky PS edit

Dear Bth:

Thank you first of all for your compliment "Kudos in writing your backend in C, though." I assume you have read the source code post.c and enjoyed it. I tried to keep it as clean and terse as possible. I worship C and believeth it to be the holiest language, the most internally consistent and the neatest. That's why I prefer to do everything in C. (I actually started out in C++ and then switched to C once I realized that all the code I was writing is C with cout and cin replacing printf and scanf)

Regarding "dropbox.htm", I have copied it into another file called "dropbox.html" and so the url:

http://www.student.cs.uwaterloo.ca/~sxiang/dropbox.html

should also work now.

I'll make the relevant changes to the survey page shortly!

Thank you for your euthusiasm again!

Regards,

CREATE/RECREATE edit

Thanks for your work on this. I had reasons not to be the one to clean up that particular article. Its creator was already upset with me about something else. He seems to be a good faith editor but there's a lot that he needs to learn about NPOV, etc., etc. Metamagician3000 02:48, 28 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your warning. edit

I have read your reference desk etiquette note and I have understood my mistakes. Thank You for this.

I hope you will point out every mistake I make so that I can become a better man.
