The information is from the information board at the Monastery, and from the Slovak government website which directly references the Temple of Kupela(o)- (depending on the declension of the noun in the original language).
The village and monastery were first burned down around 1100.
The person who keeps editing all the information and adding the references to some supposed paper is incorrect. Brusnice (talk) 22:28, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop quoting some paper written by Catholic activists about all Salvic gods being not real. The Temple of Kupala was known to exist there since the Iron Age Brusnice (talk) 22:36, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm not quoting anything. As I said above, the problem with your edit was that you didn't provide a source. You're now saying that you have one. That's great. In future then, make sure to include your sources with your edits in the first place so they won't get reverted. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:56, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Here you go. Translated from Slovak.

I have noticed recently that a lot of pages referencing paganism, non-Abrahamic religions, and similar topics are being systematically removed, or edited using same exact reference by the Catholic activists. Is this some new drive by Christian editors? What is happening? It's even being mentioned in literal historical information about Rome. Brusnice (talk) 23:16, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't know. If you are concerned there is some sort of concerted effort happening, you may wish to consult the Religion Wikiproject. I would say to bring it to the admins but it sounds more like this is an impression you have rather than hard-and-fast evidence of malfeasance, so seeking help from a wider group of editors is probably a good first step.   Hi Brusnice! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Krásny Brod that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. And now the article mentions only one church but your not-minor edits says the monastery was built on the ruins of "these" early churches, which clearly makes no sense at all. And isn't sourced. Doug Weller talk 14:46, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

What is translated, what paper are you complaining about, how do you know a Catholic activist or activists is/are involved?

I need answers to these questions please. Your edits show you clearly are not following our policies and guidelines. Doug Weller talk 14:51, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bad sources

edit

"The historically important Monastery of the Descent of the Holy Spirit was built on the ruins of these early churches in the 14th century, after a blind man claimed to have been healed by the water from the spring at the site of the temple to Kupala. " is sourced to Waymarking, which is crowdsourced a bit like Wikipedia so can't be used as a source. The same source is used for "In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 9th century." - "In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 9th century." is not sourced at all.
