Bruno crime family edit

Please don't cut and past articles to move them to a new title.

From Wikipedia:Moving a page :

You should never just move a page by cutting all the text out of one page, and pasting it into a new one; old revisions, notes, and attributions are much harder to keep track of if you do that. (But you may have to if, for instance, you're splitting a page into multiple topics. If you do, please include a note in the new page's edit summary and talk page stating where you took the text from.)

Please see Wikipedia:Requested moves, if you'd like a page moved. Thanks. --Ted87 (talk) 18:55, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Bruno crime family. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.--Ted87 (talk) 22:54, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Gambino family Boss edit

  • Salvatore D'Aquila was his own boss operating in East Harlem and South Bronx he later moved into Brooklyn around 1910s. In 1916, he took over some of the Camorra gangs making the largest crime family in New York City.
  • Pellegrino Morano was the boss of the Brooklyn Camorra family, which after 1916 was no longer active. The Camorra gang members went into other crime familys (like the D'Aquila family or the Masseria family). From 1916 on the Italian Mafia was controlled by the Sicilian Mafia. --Vic49 (talk) 14:58, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Nicholas Furina edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nicholas Furina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Quiggers1P (talk) 15:55, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Ralph Esposito edit

The article Ralph Esposito has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I have two concerns about this article - the first is that I could only find articles on him from the WCNYH, so he may not pass WP:N. The other is that as far as I can see he is not proven to be a soldato as per the source, which could be a libel issue.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Mr. Stradivarius 16:22, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission.
