Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest edit

Hi, I saw some edits by you in this page and I would like to inform you that Maruv did not withdraw from the selection but Ukrainian broadcaster banned her from participating. Then they continued searching for a new representative via internal selection. If you have a reliable source about Maruv's confirmed participation please add it with your edit. Thank you. - Resliv - 20:22, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Russian people of Avar descent edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Russian people of Avar descent indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Correct attribution for translation edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from cs:Elis Mraz into Elis Mraz. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When translating a foreign-language Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've translated content, disclosing the translation and linking to the translated page, e.g., Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the page you placed the translation. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have translated material before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. (t · c) buidhe 16:20, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Template:User Zionist edit

Hello, can I ask that you please do not create opinion-based userboxes like this in template-space? Your own userspace or as a subpage of User:UBX is preferred. I'll move it to either for you if you'd like. Thanks! Elli (talk | contribs) 00:07, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Languages in ESC country articles edit

I appreciate your point of view on this, and while listening to the songs I can tell that yes they are these languages, just listening and then saying what the language is based on your understanding is not enough, and falls under original research, which is prohibited by Wikipedia policy. Everything on Wikipedia needs to be backed up by verifiable and reliable sources in order to be considered for inclusion. Any unsourced additions to Wikipedia are subject to removal at any time. There are several policies on this, this is not a new thing, and again while I know that the additions you are adding are in good faith and are true and are basically facts, nevertheless on Wikipedia the truth requires sources. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 22:31, 8 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

They are not basically facts - they are facts, and it absolutely meets the criteria of when a citation is not needed. Brobbz (talk) 00:00, 9 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Indic script edit

  - Please do not add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at Jalandhar, as this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 17:22, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Mary Peltola edit

Hello Brobbz, I noticed you added Category:American people of German descent to Mary Peltola, but this requires a citation to a reliable source in the body of the article. If you can find one, please re-add the category with a citation to a reliable source in the body-I have temporarily reverted the edit. Thank you, Augusthorsesdroppings10 (talk) 23:43, 25 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I linked/timestamped the part of her interview with Joy Reid where Rep. Peltola says her father is a German-American from Nebraska. Thank you, Brobbz (talk) 02:55, 26 November 2022
