Hello...

Hello, Nice to see your new identity. I am replying to your msg on my talk page where you told me about your problem. If you scroll above, you will see that your welcome message has been signed by a user named Phil. Perhaps it is the same Phil that you refer to? Please contact him directly. No, I do not know him, you dont need to know him either! Admins are nice people with whom you can openly clarify matters. Dont hesitate to ask him why he did what he did (He will refer you to the suitable policy, which you can go through and keep in mind for future edits). Meanwhile, I will also contact him directly regarding your msg. Hope you enjoy editing. Cheers. Prashanthns (talk) 18:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the nice words! :)  Prashanthns (talk) 20:13, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hello again. You seemed to have left that message in Phil's User page! Editing other's user page is not considered appropriate, and sometimes, downright runde, even. But, I am sure he understands that you are a new editor. Note the following
  • When you want to leave a message, click on the "talk" link that is beside the user's name on the link. It will take you to his talk page. If you end up on the user page by mistake, you can click the discussion tab on the top beside user page and it will again take you to his talk page. Do go back to his talk page, where I took the liberty of moving your comment from his user page to his talk page.
How did I know about your message? Easy. There is a watchlist (see top right) which lets you track recent changes to articles/pages that you watch. See Help:Watching pages. Prashanthns (talk) 20:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
