hakim bey -- go for it

edit

Looks like User:Theoldanarchist is gone. Post that link, eh? --Dylanfly 17:21, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bob, I've responded to your question regarding the omission of criticism on the Hakim Bey talkpage. Regards, Skomorokh incite 00:00, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

PLW pederasty link issue revisited again. Bob--could you give us links to the Bey writings? That could help to fact-check and validate your important piece. Cheers, Don Smilo Don (talk) 18:52, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you still around?

edit

Hi, I was just wondering if you're still around? I may have some good news for you. Please either tag me in a post, or contact me on my talk page. Thank you. Shelly Pixie (talk) 03:03, 1 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello Shelly Pixie, I have not been paying much attention to the Hakim Bey thing in recent years, and I'm clumsy on Wiki editing. I just found your 5yo message. I see that my input is on the main article now, which is great. Also, it looks like the (ridiculous) fuss about whether Bey and Wilson are the same person has been settled correctly. One thing seems to be missing: As you know, "Hakim Bey" is a pseudonym. The question has been raised over the years as to whether "Peter Lamborn Wilson" is also a pseudonym. I believe it is. No radar hits the name before around 1975, and Columbia University has never heard of the guy. Another person with a very similar name was a student there. This was discussed in the Talk column, but it would take some time for me to find that. Michael M Knight is cited as the source of Hakim's DOB, but Knight's source is Hakim himself. This means that nobody knows the date of birth.

These are thoughts that come to mind. If you ever receive this note, I hope that it finds you well. BobHelms (talk) 01:01, 27 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
