This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. noq (talk) 17:41, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Removing content

edit

Hi BnTAA, may i know the reason why are u remove content for X titles, X runners-up in some of badminton related articles? Thx Stvbastian (talk) 17:45, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Because it is too fluid and will be constantly changed until the player's retirement. If referred in a page, the changes made will make the link got lost (not in the originally intended direction). That is why most athletes have their achievement numbers inside a table or anything but the section title. If you think my reason is ridiculous, feel free to restore. BnTAA (talk) 17:49, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
It's ok BnTAA, since there is no regulations or consensus about that. But, it would be great if you asking another editor opinion in WP:BADMINTON before you removed that. Because, most of badminton player related articles have their achievement numbers in the sub-section, and your editing will be impact to another articles. Another point, i see that u put SIN as Singapore country code in Loh Kean Hean and Terry Hee, the code should be SGP per IOC. Thx Stvbastian (talk) 18:17, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi BnTAA, because the player keep growing thats why we add and calculate their achievement by adding the sum of winns and runner up. thanksFahrurozi.86 (talk) 02:36, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Removing sourced content - notice of Bold, Revert, Discuss

edit

  You have deleted sourced content.

Please visit Talk:Mandalika International Street Circuit#BRD and explain why - as you are a new editor, I will explain that this is a semi-formal process called bold, revert, discuss.

I added content which I considered serious and required to complement the race circuit history. You have deleted it as trivial. I have reverted this boldly, and now you are invited to discuss your action (there). Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 15:26, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please use edit summaries

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 03:08, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Cite web

edit

Hi BnTAA, i see that you kinda reverted my edit in 2021 Indonesia Open and 2021 Indonesia Masters about the sources. Fyi, in website= parameter, we should avoid put domain name extensions (ex: ".com"). And in citing a website, having both 'publisher' and 'website' parameters is redundant in many cases. see: {{Cite web}} or in Bahasa baca di: Cite web yang menyatakan: Nama/judul website tempat sumber (contoh 'Quartz', 'Radar Bali') bukan alamat website (bukan 'www.kompas.com' atau 'kemdikbud.go.id'). Gunakan parameter 'Penerbit' untuk lembaga. Kemudian baca lagi tentang penggunaan 'author' dimana dalan cite web dijelaskan bahwa parameter author diisi dengan nama belakang, bukan nama penuh. Harap ini menjadi perhatian anda. Terima kasih Stvbastian (talk) 19:32, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Flix11, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
