Hi! I responded on Talk:Democracy, but the short answer is yes, lists can be copyrighted. But even if it was ok for us to include that list, it's too much for an encyclopedia article. We just want to summarize the information, not include it verbatim. That seems like an excellent article to reference in the external links section, and information from it can probably be used to improve the article.
