editThanks for uploading Image:1177931032.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:34, 13 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Andyreply 08:34, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Blocked
editHello. I have had to block your account from editing because you are uploading a whole bunch of images and tagging them as your own creation when in fact they all explicitly carry the text "Copyright by Keimyung University, all rights reserved". Please stop. I will delete these images and your account will be blocked for an hour as a precautionary measure. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Pascal.Tesson 08:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Extra note: apparently you also added copyrighted text from [1] to the article. Please remember that this is not possible as Wikipedia is licensed under the GFDL and as such cannot accept copyrighted material. Pascal.Tesson 08:54, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Decline reason: You have been blocked directly as stated in your block log. Since you have not provided a reason for being unblocked, your request has been declined. You may provide a reason for being unblocked by adding {{unblock | your reason here}} to the bottom of your talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
<<unblock|I am working at Keimyung university and I was trying to update our university's info in wikipedia. I didn't know the importance of license and also how to license it. I only thought I could prevant other use of image if I upload images which include our copyright. please unblock my account and IP. Also I want you to change the info of our university which I updated an hour ago. It took me about 3 hours to update and I don't have back-up files. If I have to upload licesed image, please let me know how to do it. It's quite difficult to me to do it with instruction in this website coz I'm using this for the first time. Thanks.>>
- Your 1 hour block has already expired. Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights and Wikipedia:Non-free content for more details to avoid being reblocked. Since you do not own the images you have been trying to upload to Wikipedia, you need to seek permission to do so from the original owner of those images. -- Netsnipe ► 10:12, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- I also recommend that you take a look at our guideline concerning conflicts of interest. Please remember that articles on Wikipedia should be neutral and attributed to reliable third-party sources. You might want to take a look at other university articles. Pascal.Tesson 16:26, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
