October 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Gianluigi Buffon, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Chase Utley. Thank you. — KV5Talk • 12:45, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} To supplement an article can we use pictures from google images if we do not have "rights" to the image.

Short answer, no.
Longer answer, see Wikipedia:Finding images tutorial.
Better answer, talk to us live, with this or this.  Chzz  ►  18:36, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:15, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

December 2012 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Chase Utley, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 05:48, 14 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Cites edit

See wp:citing sources. A simple way: if "Joe" gets married and the source you want to cite is nbcnews.com/Joe_married, write in the article Joe was married on the 23rd of July 1999.<ref>[http://www.nbcnews.com/joe_married NBC news: Joe married</ref>. It would appear as Joe was married on the 23rd of July 1999.[5]. Clicking on the [5] would take you down to the bottom of the page to the link. Clicking on the link would take you to nbcnews.com/Joe_married. Hope this helps! Thanks for asking and happy editing! Jim1138 (talk) 03:22, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
