ICarly (Second Page) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of ICarly (Second Page), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: ICarly. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:28, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, ICarly (Second Page) edit

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, ICarly (Second Page). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - iCarly. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at iCarly - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. ALI nom nom 02:29, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Zombie Panic! Source 2: The Zombie Strikeback edit

I have nominated Zombie Panic! Source 2: The Zombie Strikeback, an article that you created, for deletion. Re: edit

I'm not sure, but it seems you were being warned for removing an AFD notice from Zombie Panic! Source 2: The Zombie Strikeback. I would suggest that you self revert and replace the notice immediately. If you don't do this you may be blocked. Also, this edit is very concerning. Four days ago I warned you that this was not done. Your actions make it appear that you don't care about Wikipedia policies. You need to apologize to User:A little insignificant on their talk page. I would futher advise that, for the short term at least, you ask someone about your future edits before you execute them. You are exhibiting a dangerous lack of knowledge regarding Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This could be entirely unintentional, but the block that could result would not be. Please be more careful. Regards Tiderolls 19:25, 9 May 2010 (UTC) Copied from my reply on my talk page.Reply
I issued a final warning when it became apparent that the article you created was a hoax, and after investigating some of your other edits, I formed the distinct impression that you were a bad-faith account. I came home today to find my talk page had been the subject of much excitement on your behalf. Normally in these circumstances I would request a block on the spot, but perhaps we can do things differently for once. Tiderolls has gone out of his way to be kinder and more forgiving of you than we are of most users. I would appreciate an apology for vandalizing my talk page, and perhaps an apology to Tiderolls for betraying his trust. If you feel up to that, we could start over. I could see you becoming a prolific user here. ALI nom nom 21:15, 9 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of ICarly: The Movie edit

The article ICarly: The Movie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that such a movie exists or is in development.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 04:04, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey edit

I didn't realize you had apologized- when you didn't respond for two days, I didn't think you would come back at all. I'm impressed, and I accept your apology. If you ever need any help with anything here, feel free to ask me.

Oh! And I notice you've been trying out a template on your talk page. Did you know that you can have extra pages in userspace? For example, I have a personal sandbox here that I use for trying out templates and messing around. You could create something like User:Beamer103/sandbox for messing around in. Speedy deletion nomination of 911 Dispatcing (anime) edit

A tag has been placed on 911 Dispatcing (anime) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. New problems edit

You need to stop your editing experiments. This editor is not blocked. On the same editor's talk page you posted a warning that included another editor's signature. While most likely unintentional, this action looks very deceptive. I see you have also contacted a blocked user appearing to explain their block to them. This was unnecessary as the blocking administrator posted a block notice that explained the situation adequately. Please understand this. This is the last time I will come here to warn you. I will not block you myself, but if you do not redirect your editing energies toward more constructive purposes I will bring your actions to the attention of the wider community for review. The warning on my talk page... edit

Hi, Beamer103!

You recently came by and left this note on my talk page. First, I don't believe I've ever edited the page in question - Roblox2, I think. Second, you might want to take a look at WP:UW and some of the guidelines about User Warnings. A "Stop or you'll be blocked" is generally reserved for a persistent vandal - probably shouldn't be used on the very first warning on my talk page. Hi, Beamer! I pretty much stopped editing those pages a couple years ago, mostly because there are other subjects which interested me more. Self Nomination for Adminship edit

Re: Usefy Page Request edit

No, since after you sent my message, you went and re-created the page, which is very poor form. Also, the page was already userfied at User:Beamer103/911 Dispatching over a month ago; I've just deleted that copy since there is absolutely no hope of this series gaining a Wikipedia article at this time. See the notability guideline for websites; it requires that any web content added to Wikipedia must have several articles about it in major publications like The New York Times or major web blogs. Speedy deletion nomination of 911 Dispatching edit

A tag has been placed on 911 Dispatching, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thornbury Hoard edit

Can you please tell me what you are trying to do at this article? So far, you've added a completely inappropriate CSD tag on it, a AfD notice, a personal attack warning (and to the talk page). What is it you are trying to do? Besides, it doesn't meet any CSD criteria as it now states its claim to notability and is referenced as such. – B.hoteptalk• 20:17, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ah, if I didn't know better, I would assume it has something to do with this (the last administrator to delete your article). Please don't take it personally. And... I didn't create the above article.

I've moved List of 911 Dispatching episodes to your user space for you to work on. It may be moved back into article space when you have completed it (Wikipedia articles do not as a rule have "page not completed on them"). Please do not template the regulars, as you did here. User:ESkog is an admin and he was not removing the CSD tag from Madden NFL 11. Please stop adding <ref>1</ref>, etc. to articles. That is not a reference. A reference is a source for the information in the article (like a website or book). Also, stop warning editors for no good reason. You warned User:Vor'Cha for creating an article that had no references, but he actually didn't create the article. Request reason:

I am so sorry for the vandalism. I got carried away for a while. Can you at least forgive me? I got carried away from creating pages. I swear by Wikipedia Policy that I will never do the following: Vandalism, Hoaxes, Disruptive Edits, etc. Ever again.I have re-read the rules for Wikipedia. And I swear not to do it again. I re-read all the rules for Wikipedia. I will stop breaking the rules on Wikipedai. Please forgive me. I didn't know 911 Dispatching and my other pages I have created would be deleted and didn't meet Wikipedia's Criterea.

Decline reason:

If you honestly didn't know those pages would be deleted when they had already been deleted multiple times before then you apparently lack the basic level of competence required to edit here. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:38, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am really sorry. Can you please unblock me? I never ment to do that.

Decline reason:

If you didn't mean to do this, that means that somehow you are unable to prevent yourself from making inappropriate edits. Clearly an unblock would be inappropriate for someone who makes inappropriate edits even when trying not to. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:15, 3 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • I won't review this (pointless) unblock request since I've already declined you once, but if this is the best reasoning you can come up with I wouldn't feel the least bit compelled to unblock you. How could you have "not meant to do it?" That's just nonsense. Be aware that repeated use of the unblock template without supplying any real reason for unblocking you can lead to your ability to appeal the block in this manner being revoked.
