Singlechart templates

Just letting you know, the date parameter of the Scottish and UK single chart templates need to remain in YYYY-MM-DD in order to correctly link to the archived chart on the OCC website. Changing them to dmy (or 6 January 2017), as you did at Call on Me (Starley song), results in an error. Thank you. Ss112 17:13, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, must have not realised when I made the edit! Bbb2007 (talk) 17:15, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Objective Productions logo.png

Thanks for uploading File:Objective Productions logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:04, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Non-free logo use

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically Television in the United Kingdom, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:54, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi Bbb207. I am aware of c:Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:ITV logos, but that does not automatically mean that you can automatically replace the files deleted from Commons with the non-free File:ITV logo 2013.svg. Each use of a non-free image on Wikipedia is required to satisfy all 10 non-free content criteria listed at WP:NFCCP. The particularly hard one to satisfy in such cases is WP:NFCC#8 because it implies that there be a pretty strong contextual connection between image and article content. This can be hard when the image is not being used as the primary means of identification of the subject of the article and is not itself specifically the subject of any discussion citing reliable sources within the article in question. Simply showing the channel's logo because the channel itself is mentioned is usually considered decorative use, and not a justification for non-free use. If you feel you can justify the non-free use of the file in these other article, then please do so by providing the valid non-free use rationale required by WP:NFCCE. Please be advised that simply adding a rationale does not mean that the particular use complies with relevant policy, and any rationale may be challenged by another editor. If you have any specific questions about this you can (1) ask for assistance at WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC, or (2) start a discussion about the file's non-free use at WP:FFD. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:06, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

IP editor

I spotted your revert at 2018 Formula One season. (I did the same but type slowly!) The same IP has been going round GP articles altering sponsor years from XXXX–2017 to XXXX–present. ([https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/72.220.189.39 Contribs). I suspect given history of their edits that this is deliberate low-key disruption as present is 'vague'. Orange S.A.

Hi. I wonder why you undid my edits on Orange S.A. All I did was add Liberia (Cellcom in Liberia was acquired by Orange this month), and sort the list of countries alphabetically. What's the problem with this? Thanks.

--Mamdu (talk) 18:46, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Followup: I just realized the "Mobile" heading was repeated.. thanks for undoing it then. I'll reedit it once more with the alphabetical order and adding Liberia. -Mamdu (talk) 18:57, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Additional information: I replaced your image with a higher resolution version that's still rather small (less than 0.05 Megapixels). And since the logo is the logo for all Smooth Radio, I decided to upload it as a new file with a more fitting name. I also added a fair use rationale for every page the file is used on. — trlkly 11:03, 26 May 2017 (UTC)

Ed Carpenter's page

Mate are you fucking stupid or something? Why the fuck did you put a second infobox script line in when it didn't fucking need one? You fucked the page as a result of your stupidity. Don't edit the page again you retard MattyPF1 (talk) 08:29, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

I think you'll find my edit didn't break the page, the previous IP editor broke the layout of the infobox. There's no need to be so angry towards me. Bbb2007 (talk) 16:46, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:Team Penske logo.png

The file File:Team Penske logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Equivalent media is under a 'free' license on Commons c:File:Tektronix logo.svg.

Not F8 owing to differing licenses.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BBC IP

Hello Bbb2007, I see you have reverted some of my reverts on the BBC News channel. The reason for my reverts were that the IP making them 82.38.198.215 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and other IPs, has a history of inserting non-referenced, non explained, alterations and has been blocked multiple times by administrators. Whilst I agree that some "edits" may be correct, there is a history of making changes - yet leaving the original references, which do not apply, intact. They have also shown no desire to explain any of their changes to editors on their Talk page. Hope this explains the actions made. Regards, David J Johnson (talk) 21:28, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

List of Premier League managers

Hi. As you appear to be the most frequent editor of this article, you might care to review the table at the end, as there are several errors, as I have mentioned on the article's talk page.. Best wishes. 92.26.172.4 (talk) 14:48, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
