Umaglesi Liga

As I noticed that you speak Georgian (or even live in Georgia), and as you did some work on football pages, could you answer me some questions that remained unsolved? The problem is that none of the main contributors speaks Georgian and Google translator doesn't work for Georgian language. So,

1. Will there be 36 rounds played this season (every team plays against every other team 4 times)?
2. Why did Mglebi and Meskheti withdraw from the league? I noticed that on some websites Mglebi is written together with Baia, so they might be merged, but is it certain? And what happened to Meskheti?
3. Are those two withdrawals the reason that Gagra and Spartaki were not relegated and play another season in Umaglesi Liga?
4. Why Ameri Tbilisi were not promoted to the league?
5. In the match of Umaglesi Liga 2009–10 between Baia and Olimpi that finished 2–1 for Olimpi, who played at home and who away? Somewhere they state Baia 1–2 Olimpi (as the match was played in Zugdidi), and somewhere they state Olimpi 2–1 Baia (as the match was played in Rustavi). So, could you help me in solving the mystery?

I hope you could help me out in this. Also, sources for answers would be gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance. SonjiCeli (talk) 22:05, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Could you help me out with this please, we have this article in georgian, რამაზი შეყილაძე at WP:PNT and we don't know what it means, although we suspect it's a non-notable bio. Please could you tell us if its worth keeping? Thanks--Jac16888Talk 20:59, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Pirveli Liga 1994-95

Hello BRUTE, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Pirveli Liga 1994-95 - a page you tagged - because: please use WP:AFD. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. PeterSymonds (talk) 15:05, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Can you tell me why you think the Pirveli Liga year-by-year tables should be deleted? I agree that it could be better but we have similar articles for football in other countries, Scottish Third Division 2006–07 for example. I don't see why we should have similar articles for Georgia. Curiously, Angus McLellan (Talk) 20:16, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Re: Rename

Please file a request... thanks. Andrevan@ 16:01, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Being as that user has an edit, you will need to file a request at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations, which may or may not be filled depending on the opinion of the bureaucrat who closes the request, who could be me, but I may not. Andrevan@ 22:28, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Umaglesi Liga, again

Anyway, I noticed that the match between Sioni and Spartaki (originally ended 0–1) has been cancelled, or something like that. Also, on soccerway.com they state that both teams were given three goals against, obviously without the replay of the match. Here is the article that should explain everything, but since I don't speak Georgian, I was wondering if you could help me with translating it. So, is the match actually cancelled? And will it be played again, or soccerway.com is right? Thanks in advance. SonjiCeli (talk) 20:01, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

I assumed that the cancellation is the final decision, but nevertheless I wanted to be sure. Anyway, thank you for the explanation. :) SonjiCeli (talk) 12:45, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello BRUTE, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Talk:Reymystrio, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. Chveneburebi (Ensemble)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Chveneburebi (Ensemble), and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://chveneburebi.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=135&Itemid=1&lang=en. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. Speedy deletion nomination of Chveneburebi (Ensemble)

A tag has been placed on Chveneburebi (Ensemble) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
