Readers can do their own math edit

Hello. Will you please stop putting in 'length of time figures' at Monarchy of Australia. We don't do that on this project, as readers can do their own math. Thanks. GoodDay (talk) 02:36, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Goondiwindi Region edit

While Lawrence Springborg is a member of the LNP, he did not win the Goondiwindi mayoralty as an LNP candidate but as an independent, so I removed your addition. This situation is quite common with local government elections in Queensland, where very few candidates run as a candidate of a political party (even if they are party members). Brisbane City Council is the exception where many candidates are running as an endorsed party member. So with local government elections, you need to check the electoral commission results to see if there is or isn't a listed party affilitation. I hope this helps. March 2023 edit

Hi Aydenholtonvlogs! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Myanmar that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. 25stargeneral (talk) 00:26, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I added the word "authoritarian" to the military junta in the infobox, no other additions have been made. If you'd like, I am able to revert the edit. Aydenholtonvlogs (talk) 00:30, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Nevermind, it has appeared that you have already reverted the page. Aydenholtonvlogs (talk) 00:32, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
This message is about your use of the minor edit feature, which was not proper for that edit. Please read the above message and be sure to use the check box for minor edits only in the future. I will point out the message above says: Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. 25stargeneral (talk) 00:36, 29 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Charles III requested move discussion edit

There is a new requested move discussion in progress for the Charles III article. Since you participated in the previous discussion, I thought you might like to know about this one. Cheers. Rreagan007 (talk) 06:51, 24 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

August 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Geniac. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Maria Thayer, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Geniac (talk) 02:47, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've readded it with references this time. Aydenholtonvlogs (talk) 02:53, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

September 2023 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Qantas, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 14:12, 5 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request to undo closure edit

Hello, I dont think your close of History of the Jews and Judaism in the Land of Israel‎‎ was appropriate either in the reading of consensus or your non-admin closing of it. Your reasoning is based on a raw vote count, and we dont do that here. Beyond that, with 600 some edits, you are barely allowed to participate in such a move request, making the idea of you closing it with such little experience somewhat surprising. Would you mind reverting your close and allowing an editor with more experience reading consensus to do so? nableezy - 23:16, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sure. A y d o h 8 ( t a l k ) 23:50, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
thank you very much. nableezy - 00:27, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Copy-paste tag on Anapos edit

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia didn't copy the website, the website copied Wikipedia. The website states this pretty clearly:

From Wikipedia article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anapos, which is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike License 3.0.

Please double check in the future. Thanks! ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 01:33, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ah. I did not see that. Thanks for letting me know. Aydoh8 (talk) 02:07, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Strikethrough edit

Did you mean to strike the comments by AntiDionysius in this edit? They appear to be extended-confirmed. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 00:49, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

I was replying to a non-EC user, and I did note I don't really have a strong view on the renaming issue, so I don't mind too much either way. AntiDionysius (talk) 00:52, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, as AntiDionysius said. Aydoh8 (talk) 02:25, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop nominating species articles for deletion edit

All these will end up being kept per WP:NSPECIES. Now that you're aware of consensus in this area, please don't nominate further species articles for deletion. Thanks! Jfire (talk) 04:52, 27 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's not just species, I've just been through the AfDs you started in the last week and speedy or WP:SNOW closed most of them. Please try to be a bit more thorough in your WP:BEFORE checks. Every new AfD is an extra drain on volunteer time. – Joe (talk) 07:07, 27 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Aydoh8, I came here about your AFDs as well. Quite a few of the ones you started were immediately closed as Keep because you neglected to provide a thoughtful, policy-based deletion rationale. It's really not important whether or not you, Aydoh8, think an article is useful or interesting, articles are deleted because they violate some longstanding policy on content and sourcing, not because one editor doesn't find them useful. You are still an inexperienced editor so take more time considering whether or not an article should be nominated for a deletion discussion and, above all, slow down! Thank you. Liz Read!
