Electoral results edit

Just letting you know what a pleasure it's been seeing someone else make a consistent effort to put these results tables in the articles, as you have for Queensland electorates. Having seen a lot of people jump in when voting was only half done, or unaware of the conventions, it was great to see someone who had taken notice of the conventions. Hope to see more of this in the future! Frickeg (talk) 04:19, 22 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Traveston Dam report edit

Hi A2W

I spent some very pleasant days in the Mary Valley a couple of months ago (it rains in Qld? In Feb? Who knew?) and was disheartened to learn about the dam. You added a link to a government report in the Traveston Crossing Dam article but it points to just the Senate top-level website.

There are several hits for Traveston Dam report at that site but I'm not sure which one you were after. Hope you find a "good" one.

Good luck. Saintrain (talk) 23:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Election results edit

Hi there! Long time no see! With regards to election results, we're waiting until they're final to add them (i.e. until the AEC site notes down at the bottom of the results pages say "This result is final"). We simply do not have the resources to be constantly updating them, and they'll be tweaked until all counting finishes in a week or so. We just have to sit on our hands and wait till then. Frickeg (talk) 12:14, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Indeed! Well, the seat has been officially declared by the AEC so I was simply moving on that basis. Apologies. --Australia2world (talk) 12:38, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Australia2world (talk) 12:37, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
No worries - it's confusing that way. I got caught up last time (I think - it may have been a state election), and I then had the tedious task of going around and updating them all by 10 votes each way, etc. Not much fun - better to wait until the paint's dry! Wikimedians to the Games edit

I'd like to invite you to participate Wikimedians to the Games :) It is a great opportunity to help improve Australian related content, and potentially to travel to attend the second biggest sporting event of the year. As you're an existing Wikipedian editor, you should have some advantage because you should know how to contribute and improve articles already. :) If you get to a certain point threshold, there is also a possiblity to travel to Canberra to attend a workshop at the Australian Institute of Sport. --LauraHale (talk) 10:05, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:TransLink-rail-transparent.png edit

The file File:TransLink-rail-transparent.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 25 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
