When I saw that edit summary, I was wondering what idiot said something to annoy you. xD! --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:07, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

LOL, I can't believe how poorly I misinterpreted your post! I was like "oh no he didn't" (with the head nod and all). I'll try to give you the benefit of the doubt next time ;) --Austin de Rossi (talk) 21:29, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Reading back, I can sort of see how you misinterpreted it. As I said, sorry. I'll try to remember to be clearer, especially on teh interwebs. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:48, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
I wanna join in the love fest! Oh so random. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 10:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

I get the feeling that vandal was just a little homophobic. >.> Looking at his user page, oh, how right I was. Heh. Wonder if that's warnable. :P --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 12:36, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Indeed... I posted a civil comment on his talk page and gave him a "don't attack editors" warning. He then removed it with the edit summary "fuck u queer." Ah well... all in a day. --Austin de Rossi (talk) 15:02, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, great. Now I've gone and done it too... I take homophobes pretty seriously since almost half of my friends are gay or bi, I'm curious and my girlfriend's bi. (smacks self) Stop warning people, me... --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 15:08, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Cool, welcome to the hated-for-no-reason club! ;) --Austin de Rossi (talk) 15:32, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Help with tables

Okay, so I lied. I'm not replying to something, but because this is all about me I figured it would best be kept on my talkpage. I don't know how much of an expert on tables you are, but I made a template (more for fun then anything) here and need some help with it. If you go to my userpage you will see "My templates" to the right. When you see the Xbox Live template, you will notice that the space around it is all messed up.If you notice the userboxes are nice and snug how they should be, and I more or less want the same effect. I know this has something to do with the template becuase I have had similar problems using it elsewhere. Any advice or pointers? Thanks in advance! --Austin de Rossi (talk) 23:58, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Urgh, sorry. I'm very sleepy right now, so forgive me if I seem a bit thick. I presume you're talking about why the box expands hugely? ... I'm wrong, aren't I? X.X Sorry! (sheepish) --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 01:44, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, but it is a problem with the template, no matter where I put it, there is a big space around the border of it. I want it to behave like userboxes in the sense that they can fit sung inside tables or next to text. --Austin de Rossi (talk) 15:09, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Sorry. I didn't sleep at all last night so I'm stone-dull right now. And not a sharp stone either. A dull, dull stone... I mean, hell, it just took me five minutes to remember how to italicise (and hell, even then I just gave up and pushed the bloody button at the top of the edit screen) so understanding isn't my strong suit right now. I'd ask for you to just contact me tomorrow, but I'm not going to be online (same for a lot of Boxing Day), so I want to try and help you now. I... think I understand what you mean, but can you take a screenshot and e-mail it to me, highlighting the exact problem? I don't want to look even more stupid than I no doubt already do by "fixing" the wrong section... Thanks. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:26, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey Jade, I hope you had a good holdiay. I'm been MIA for the past few days and am now just getting back around to this. Don't sweat it if you're unsure, it's more of a coding question and I don't expect you to be the expert. I'm at work right now, so I can't email you, so I'll try and show you here and if I fail at explaining it again then I'll wait and email you tonight. I put the code in question below so you don't have to go clicking around for it. If you notice there is a consiterable space above, to the right, and below the template. That is what I would like to eliminate, if you notice the left side of the template has a very small space, that is what I would like to achive on all sides. I believe this to be a problem with the actual template, not the utilization of the template because I have encountered the same problem attempting to use the template elsewhere. If you are unable to help, would this be an appropriate usage of {{helpme}}? --Austin de Rossi (talk) 17:58, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Damn it, sorry. I can't think of anything. I've even tried breaking stuff to see what would happen. I'll keep trying, but I can't think of anything right now... sorry. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 01:07, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Template help

{{helpme}} I'm sorry if this is not appropriate usage of {{helpme}} (I've never used it before). This is a coding question.

I have created a template here and am having some issues with it. I put an example of using the template below so you don't have to go clicking around for it. If you notice there is a consiterable space above, to the right, and below the template. That is what I would like to eliminate, if you notice the left side of the template has a very small space, that is what I would like to achive on all sides (much like the userbox templates on my userpage). I believe this to be a problem with the actual template, not the utilization of the template because I have encountered the same problem attempting to use the template elsewhere.

Thank you in advance for your help (and again, really sorry if this is the wrong way to ask for help). --Austin de Rossi (talk) 16:14, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

My templates
I changed it a bit, is that what you tried to achieve? Regards SoWhy 16:31, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh my god, it was that easy?! Do you know how many times I've read through the help sections trying to fix this. Well anyway, thank you! --Austin de Rossi (talk) 16:36, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
No problem. Sometimes a little HTML is all that's needed.   Regards SoWhy 16:50, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
... I suck... --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 17:28, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Nah, I appreciate your willingness to take a look for me. Coding is a tricky thing, and in most cases (like this one) it is just staring you in the face. Thanks to both of you. --Austin de Rossi (talk) 18:38, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

MW2 Sandbox

In future, the CSD tags G7 (author requests deletion) or R3 (totally bonkers redirect) are more descriptive. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:19, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh, thanks! I wasn't really sure what I was doing. --Austin de Rossi (talk) 21:20, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
No problem. It gets deleted anyway, but those two help an admin's decision in doing so. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:28, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

in response to your question

It says he was waiting for the bus when the gunman opened fired. It does not say he was at the bus stop. There were students there who attended other programs at other schools and waited for the bus in the cafeteria.--Ishtar456 (talk) 17:23, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Xbox Gayming

Hi, just thought i'd pop by and say a lil hey. I'm pretty new to the whole Wiki thing as was hoping to get to know other gay Wikpedians with any similar interests as my own. And I noticed you're a xbox gaymer, as am I. Outta interest, what's you're favorite game at the moment? Sorry if this is a lame excuse for a first message, lol. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
