References edit

Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 13:14, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:11, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Jamie. Thank you for your attention to the new page I created. The external links are to sources cited in the content but that do not have wiki pages themselves (case in point, the Master Breeders Association, etc.) To legitimize those sources, I added references to the associations themselves. I appreciate your patience with me. This is a first-time article. If you have any other special considerations and recommendations, I am indebted to your expertise. Thank you! Speedy deletion nomination of Petplan Australia edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello. A tag has been placed on Petplan Australia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. September 2016 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, you may be blocked from editing. NeilN talk to me 00:32, 16 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

@NeilN - Sorry! Every time I look at my work I see something I want to fix or change. I am a relatively new wiki editor; learning this process for the first time. I have noted the mistakes you mentioned. I can limit my edits by making sure page content is spic and span prior to publishing and saving changes. Proposed deletion of Petplan Australia edit

The article Petplan Australia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable insurance company. Most sources provided are about other related topics mentioned in this article, with trivial mention of the company.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
