Yes, I'm familiar edit

Lets take a look:

KEA: Thrash/Speed RTL: Thrash MOP: Thrash AJFA: Thrash TBA: Heavy Metal Load: Heavy Metal/ hard rock Reload: Heavy Metal/ Thrash St. Anger: Heavy Metal Death Magnetic: Thrash Metal

The point of putting a genre is to determine what the band will be remembered for. They will be remembered for Thrash/Heavy Metal. They had some of the lowest record sales in load/reload. The only two that come close to hard rock. Just leave Hard Rock out. It doesnt make sense to continue to have this debate. Reload was more Heavy Metal than hard rock anyway. So all in all 5 thrash albums 2 heavy metal albums and 2 heavy metal/Hard rock isnt significant enough IMO.

And I do realize Alcatrazz is already taken. Not only did Yngwie Malmsteen play guitar in that band, but so did Steve Vai. We've changed to Renegade since. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kgardner1123 (talkcontribs) 00:31, 5 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Angband (band) edit

Hello sir, I created an article about Angband, but It was deleted. once the creator claimed they are the first metal band from Iran to sign a deal with a European records company but didnt have enough sources, I have many sources like: www.lordsofmetal.nl , www.stormbringer.at , www.localradio.pehzeh.net www.metal-rules.com and their album has lots of good feedbacks, I created a page in my sandbox: User:Spada2/Sandbox would you please take a look at it and the question I have: can I create the page not mentioning the first band thing due to their positive feedbacks? Thanks in advance --Spada2 (talk) 13:47, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

RE: Metallica instrumental track... edit

Alright, seems like a good reason. I might try to find a source saying that TLITD is an instrumenal. Personally, I believe it is since there are no sung words but rather a spoken passage, which I think is what separates it from being a regular song. Genre field edit

It applies to Musician and Album boxes for now (feel free to "delete at will") And the songs will be discussed in the next week or so. The sooner the better I think. Todays changes have been excellent. The "battlefield" has finally been taken away from the pov pushers. And good riddance. The Real Libs-speak politely 01:34, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deleting red links is great too. And if that young Angry Shoplifter infant-editor gives you a hard time and rv's your red-link cleanup (which he has been doing to you)... just come and see me. I can have a Wiki-holiday issued to him. The Real Libs-speak politely 01:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Music edit

I didn't know it was even possible to like country music and metal. Anyway, my personal task list is here, even though it's mostly pages for 80s acts and newer. There are some, like George Jones and Johnny Cash, that really need help as well. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 17:41, 7 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
