Please stop edit

I am a bit alarmed at seeing a brand new user charging around different articles issuing orders about new rules they apparently just made up out of thin air. I don't know where you got the idea that you could make up a new rule that all sources must be on the internet, but that is not, was not, and almost certainly never will be a policy here. And making edits like this, where you use your edit sumarry to issue orders regarding your new rules but don't actually make any real changes to the aerticle is not indicative of a user who is ready to work in a colloborative environment like this. ArachKheradmand answer 1 edit

Hello Beeblebrox, I agree with you and am deeply sorry of the way things have evolved. Last time it happens. But let me point on the 3 reasons for my interventions : - 1°) I am a newcomer, so OK, I'll watch my next edits!! Sorry for the inconvenience - 2°) I believe that it isn't proper to add a source from a book that is not even viewable from the net! How can one know "for sure" if the reader understood its content perfectly and if he transcripted it correctly on Wikipedia??? - 3°) Finally, I got angry because I saw my edits undone several times by another user (Samak#### something, I didn't retained the name). It's not a way to fix things! You should contact on a talk page the person which made the edit, discuss the documetation and sources, then OK, if neeeded ask for an arbitration.

Ok,let's take those point by point:
  • As you are a newcomer, it is hard to understand why you thought you should be dictating rules to other users at all.
  • A fundamental principle here is to assume good faith. Most users are here to help, not to harm. If you were raised in the Information Age that we now live in this may be difficult to grasp, but as recently as fifteen years ago most information was not online, and there are thousands and thousands of books and other reliable sources that are still not available on the net. That does not make them any less valid, and Wikipedia's reliable source guideline makes no distinction between the two.
  • If you have an issue with another user, talk to them yourself by posting to their talk page or the talk page of the article or articles involved. The best practice at all times is to follow the bold, revert, discuss cycle.
I am also adding one of our standard welcome messages below, it contains links to important pages that can help you learn the basics of what Wikipedia is and how it works. I hope this helps you, we also have a place called the tea house where experienced users provide advice and counseling to new users such as yourself. They are a very friendly bunch and can answer nearly any question you may have about Wikipedia. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:38, 14 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:38, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

3RR on Urmia edit

You are in violation of the 3RR policy. Please stop reverting, and discuss any changes on the talk page or you will be blocked. Thank you. —Dark 12:16, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why in the world when I add a source oand update a page, can someone cancel the update and then say my source is not valid! is it correct to you? So I can revert other's changes too and decide myself which source is good? I don't think so...

I have warned Samak for the same reason. You will need to go to the article talk page and discuss proposed changes. Do not continue reverting. If you are unable to come to an agreement or establish a consensus, try dispute resolution. —Dark 12:24, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Apparently you do not seem to understand what I meant when I said edit warring will not be tolerated and to discuss all changes on the talk page and gain consensus. You've been blocked for 24 hours. —Dark 08:47, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
