Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Geraint Davies (Labour politician). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Blogs such as Blogspot are not reliable sources. Please do not use any blog as a citation. A More Perfect Onion (talk) 17:19, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can I ask why you are making edits to this page with no edit summaries to explain your changes? Thanks - Galloglass 17:20, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello AnthonyEMiller! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 403 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Proposed deletion of Huw David Thomas

edit

The article Huw David Thomas has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:Entertainer. He's had a few minor roles on TV programs (e.g. "Security Guard" in a Touch of Frost episode), promoted a local show in London, and has no news coverage. Article has been unsourced for four years.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pburka (talk) 00:05, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi. You asked "Where do you draw the line?". For the answer, see WP:GNG, WP:ENTERTAINER and WP:BLP. The Malcolm Hardee article that you referred to has 39 references to demonstrate the subject's notability. While these might not all be in depth or reliable, I note that the subject is covered in a number of articles in respectable sources like the BBC. Please feel free to recreate the David Huw Thomas article if you can provide reliable sources to demonstrate his notability, as described in the articles above. Proposed deletion of Alexei Sayle's Merry-Go-Round

edit

The article Alexei Sayle's Merry-Go-Round has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NTV, nothing found in a BEFORE to support notability. Tagged since 2021

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
