- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! I'm afraid I had to revert your edits to Jain University as they did not conform with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Specifically, you added information without reliable sources required for verification. You need to provide inline citations for every fact you add. You also added multiple external links. I hope this does not dis-encourage you too much, but we do need to follow the guidelines. I'd be happy to help if you have any questions. --Muhandes (talk) 14:22, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Muthathi
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Muthathi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Calabe1992 (talk) 20:19, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

editHey Anirudh, congratulations for becoming an Online Ambassador. I'm the Campus Ambassador for Software Testing course at COEP.Pratik Lahoti (talk) 10:32, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Please see Talk:Muthathi for why I had to remove virtually all of your article and rewrite it as a stub. It is vitally important that you read the guidelines linked there as well as Wikipedia:Copy-paste and Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. This is true for all editors, but especially so for Online Ambassadors who are supposed to mentoring others. I strongly suggest that after reading those guidelines, you return to the other articles you have substantially edited (Bachelor of Computer Applications and Master of Science in Information Technology and remove any remaining copyright infringements which you may have introduced. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 07:46, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
- Update: I have now removed the copyright infringing text you added to Bachelor of Computer Applications and Master of Science in Information Technology. Voceditenore (talk) 11:04, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
