Welcome! edit

Hello, Angelobrcosta, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! It looks like your edit request on Rapid-onset gender dysphoria is for the purpose of redlinking yourself, possibly because you have the intent to create an article about yourself. While this isn't strictly prohibited, there are a lot of policies that affect situations like this - I'd like to invite you to read the following policy sections and essays before continuing:
You appear to be an expert in your subject matter - Experts are absolutely welcome here, and their input is highly encouraged, as they can make great contributions that non-expert editors are simply incapable of. We appreciate your interest in contributing to Wikipedia. PriusGod (talk) 20:10, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Managing conflict of interest edit

Hello, Angelobrcosta. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

You definitely did the right thing by proposing your edit on the Talk Page here but should not have attempted to red-link your own name directly within article space here. Thank you in advance for your understanding, Generalrelative (talk) 20:11, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is your final warning about WP:COI editing. Despite my warning above, you proceeded to make this edit. If you continue to make such edits, you may be subject to disciplinary action, including the loss of editing privileges. Note that you may always request edits about yourself on the relevant article talk pages, but your should not edit article space about any topic to which you are directly connected. Thanks, Generalrelative (talk) 19:40, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I was unaware of that. Please, could you edit the topic regarding my the actual participation on that issue.
I am Plos One Psychology Academic Section Editor. I was summuned to do a post-publicion review and publication about the original paper not as a "reviewer" but as editor:

Cool. I was able to verify and am happy to take responsibility for this content, so I've self-reverted. If you have any questions about managing COI in the future, don't hesitate to ask. Happy editing, Generalrelative (talk) 22:01, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Angelo Brandelli Costa edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Angelo Brandelli Costa. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. :Jay8g [VTE] 23:54, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Angelo Brandelli Costa edit

Hi! Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. I moved your page to Draft:Angelo Brandelli Costa because it isn't quite up to Wikipedia standards yet. The main thing is it needs more inline citations to reliable sources. It's usually not best to try to create an WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY on Wikipedia but it's possible if you follow the rules laid out at WP:Biographies of living persons and submit your draft through Articles for Creation. You'll need to edit your draft until you feel it is ready and then submit it so a reviewer can verify that it meets Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. BuySomeApples (talk) 04:23, 14 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I did that! Angelobrcosta (talk) 21:31, 14 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Awesome! Thank you Angelo. BuySomeApples (talk) 03:40, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Could you see if it is better now? Angelobrcosta (talk) 13:33, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

{{User COI}} edit

I've removed the conflict of interest declaration you added to Draft:Angelo Brandelli Costa, please declare this on your user page instead. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 18:35, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
