Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. (It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, as defined in the link, or they will be deleted. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to him or his company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the he claims or interviewing. Most of your text was unreferenced, and the first ref, in English, didn't even mention him
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. that's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to him and his companies like yours.
  • Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: most renowned... a leading fintech company... entrepreneurial endeavor... worked as the Research Professor— and so on
  • If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for him or his company, or otherwise are acting on his behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are paid directly or indirectly by the company you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Angelicabbie. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Angelicabbie|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Speedy deletion nomination of Changki Park

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Changki Park, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disruptive

edit

it is WP:DISRUPTIVE to keep recreating an article after it has been speedy deleted. You really should use WP:AFC as you are new and do not understand how WP works. Please wait to do that, until the status of the current article is resolved. Jytdog (talk) 23:34, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest and paid editing in Wikipedia

edit

Hi Angelicabbie. I work on conflict of interest issues here in Wikipedia, along with regular editing. Your edits to date are promotional and disruptive with regard to Changki Park. I'm giving you notice of our Conflict of Interest guideline and Terms of Use, and will have some comments and requests for you below.

  Hello, Angelicabbie. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template) and if you wish to create a new article, to do so via the WP:AFC process;
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.

Comments and requests

edit

Wikipedia is a widely-used reference work and managing conflict of interest is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it. As in academia, COI is managed here in two steps - disclosure and a form of peer review. Please note that there is no bar to being part of the Wikipedia community if you want to be involved in articles where you have a conflict of interest; there are just some things we ask you to do (and if you are paid, some things you need to do).

Disclosure is the most important, and first, step. While I am not asking you to disclose your identity (anonymity is strictly protecting by our WP:OUTING policy) would you please disclose if you have some connection with Changki Park or any of his companies, directly or through a third party (e.g. a PR agency or the like)? You can answer how ever you wish (giving personally identifying information or not), but if there is a connection, please disclose it. After you respond (and you can just reply below), perhaps we can talk a bit about editing Wikipedia, to give you some more orientation to how this place works. Please reply here, just below, to keep the discussion in one place. Thanks! Jytdog (talk) 23:36, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have now been asked twice to declare any COI, by myself and Jytdog, please do so before you edit again. I deleted the draft because you ignored what I said about referencing above. Your text was largely unsourced or was referenced by spamlinks to his companies. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:40, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

thanks for declaring your COI. Don't use bare urls for refs (I've fixed those). Ideally you should add refs for the bits that aren't refrenced still. You need more links to other article, I've done one to South Korea, but you need others. Avoid contractions like "that's", it's too informal. Also it's not good style to have a separate heading for every paragraph Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:20, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
