Speedy deletion nomination of Circle research

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Circle research requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cahk (talk) 14:39, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Email Recived

edit

I just wanted to let you know that I received your email, and prefer to reply here via the Wikipedia talk interface. You can also contact me at my talk page at User talk:chrislk02 and ask me questions/reply there. Re "Circle is a notable company in the market research industry. For example, Marketing Week has previously identified us one of the UK’s 100 largest research agencies (and the third fastest growing), we've won several industry accolades (e.g. BMA B2 Awards, B2B Marketing Awards, MRS Awards), we're a member of the world's largest network of B2B agencies (BBN) and we count 5 of the UK's top 10 B2B Superbrands as clients. In addition to this we publish research which has been featured in national newspapers and used to guide EU Government policy." which you sent in the email, can you provide me an reliable sources to back this up? This is the first step, as Wikipedia is not a place for original research or self promotion. If there are reliable sources, than I encourage you to re-write the article starting with them, making sure to assert notability in the intro and directly linking to referenc(s) that can substantiate the claims. Hope that helps. Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 16:40, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Circle research

Hello Andydalg,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Circle research for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Robvanvee 18:18, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
