Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages.

For instance, talk pages about musicians should not be used to post comments on how good or bad a musician is. bonadea contributions talk 06:45, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Electropop for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Talk pages are for discussing the Wikipedia article: your personal lack of knowledge is not appropriate content. Please work to improve Wikipedia articles, and stop cluttering talk pages with your personal opinions. There are other websites for that: this is an international encyclopedia. PamD 09:12, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Ellie Goulding, you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 10:00, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use talk pages for inappropriate discussions, as you did at Talk:Rita Ora. GABgab 10:25, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia isn't a forum!

edit

Hi, Ana jerie (talk · contribs), I'm an editor called Neiltonks (talk · contribs). You've got a lot of automated and semi-automated messages above, but I know these can be off-putting to a newcomer and you might be wondering what the actual problem is. The reason everyones's getting annoyed with you is that the edits you've made to Wikipedia so far suggest that you think talk pages and the like are a forum for you to post comments and questions. They are not. Wikipedia is an online encyclopaedia which anyone can edit, and the talk pages associated with articles are for discussing ways to improve the articles, not for making comments or asking questions about the subject of the article. Similarly, forums like the Teahouse are for discussing Wikipedia-related issues, not for your personal views on things.

If you want to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, you need to read some of the articles which are linked in the other sections above (shown in blue text) to get a feel for how this place works, before making any more edits. If you keep on making edits like those you've already made, one of Wikipedia's admins is going to block you from editing fairly soon, because your activities at the moment are disruptive. What do you think about AIs on Wikipedia?

edit

Hi Ana jerie,

Welcome to the Wikipedia community!

Did you know that Artificial Intelligences (AIs) support Wikipedia? I saw your post on Teahouse, and I’m personally contacting a small handful of new Wikipedia editors to make sure your voice is heard as we build and refine these AIs.

Will you please provide an interview to share your thoughts about AI on Wikipedia? It would only take about 30 minutes over phone or video chat. We will send you a $15 Amazon gift card as a way to thank you for your time.

I am working in collaboration with Wikimedia Foundation staff to do this research, so if you decide to participate, your opinion could help build the future of Wikipedia. Hope to talk to you soon!

PS. You can learn more about our study here.
