edithi Anny, i read your quite impressive sandbox and left you some suggestions on the workbench, all best --Jan eissfeldt (talk) 13:28, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks very much for your suggestions - I've taken them into account and hopefully they'll be reflected in the final article.Amg0709 (talk) 04:04, 2 November 2010 (UTC)amg0709
- worked fine Anny, thx (o:. depending on what you are in favour of we can work on the topic to optimize your article even further. an additional aspect, for example, would be the impact of the mudawana on the political authority of mohammed VI. this specific aspect is quite well investigated by scientists like Abdeslam Maghraoui ("Political Authority in Crisis: Mohammed VI's Morocco" in Middle East Report, No. 218 (Spring, 2001), pp. 12-17) and a relevant consequence of his move. there are other points that could be improved even further, all best --Jan eissfeldt (talk) 22:40, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Sounds great, thanks for the article reference. I have a lot of expansions/improvements I'd like to make in general and will be getting to them whenever I can over the next few weeks (still have a lot of midterms happening at the moment!). Amg0709 (talk) 02:30, 12 November 2010 (UTC)amg0709
- yeah, i have two speaches ahead (next week) as well but it seems we have a deal in principle ;O) and i will try to provide a more detailed review within a week, if you don't mind. all best --Jan eissfeldt (talk) 10:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
DYK
editHi. I've nominated Mudawana, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article here, where you can improve it if you see fit. Cryptic C62 · Talk 21:25, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your article Mudawana, it may be worth nominating it for good article (GA) status, as it seems fairly close to the GA criteria right now. Not to say that there's no more to improve upon, but I strongly recommend considering GA for the article when you have time to go through with the review that accompanies your nomination. Please feel free to ask me or your mentor more about GA; you don't have to make any decision now. Cheers, /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 00:40, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Wow! I'm flattered. There is still some work I'd like to do on the article to further round out the sources and information. I'll get to that as soon as I can. Thanks for nominating me! Amg0709 (talk) 04:06, 2 November 2010 (UTC)amg0709
- No worries, feel free to keep working as you see fit. I'll leave some feedback on the article talk page in the next day or so. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 15:40, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Done. I've left a small sample of suggestions on the article talk page. Have a look and let me know what you think. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 03:30, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
DYK for Mudawana
editOn 8 November 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Mudawana, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Mudawana is the only section of Moroccan law that relies primarily on Islamic sources rather than Spanish or French civil codes? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi Anny, congratulations on getting your article onto the Did You Know section on the Wikipedia front page! As you probably saw, the work you did on the Mudawana article was viewed by more than two thousand people on November 8th! Great job, and keep it up!
