Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Level Office has been reverted.
Your edit here to Level Office was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/LevelOffice) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Katy Building (Dallas, Texas)

edit

Hello AllisonVoigts,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Katy Building (Dallas, Texas) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Hama Dryad (talk · contribs · email) 21:43, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Possible conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, AllisonVoigts. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Generic1139 (talk) 22:27, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

AllisonVoigts, this account seems to be single purpose (see WP:SPA), that is, the only edits have been to the Level Office wikipedia article, or to buildings that are owned by Level Office. In the later case, some of your edits are to add an external link to the level office corporate/sales site to the body of the article. Adding an external link in the body of an article is not recommended, see WP:EL, where it says "External links should not normally be used in the body of an article" with a note that says "Exceptions are rare". The exception does not apply in this case. The web site you are linking to is only indirectly related to the article (about a historic building) and the web page is a general ad about rental space in a number of buildings, and should not even be added in the external links section. You added the link back in to the Scanlan Building body after it had been remove once. In the case of a single purpose account, advertising, and a possible conflict of interest, continued insertion of material that is against the guidelines can result in a blocked account. Please read the material on conflict of interest editing WP:COI. Generic1139 (talk) 21:17, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
