Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:40, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:46, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re your messages: The allegations you added was removed because they were not properly sourced from reliable sources. For such material to be included, you must provide citations from third-party, independent sources that are covering the allegations. Until you can provide such sources, the content will be removed. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:46, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Heal The World Foundation edits...

edit

Re your message: Another editor has already added the information and citation from the article, though I cleaned up the reference and made some additional changes. To use the reference, see the very top of the article with the sentence "The relaunched charity has no legal connection to Jackson and his estate." and the same sentence in the "Relaunch" section. The first time the reference is used, it has all of the necessary details about the reference. The second time, it where the same reference is reused. So if you expand the article using the same reference, use the second form. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:39, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: An anonymous user partially removed it as seen here. It will probably happen again some time or another, but I have restored the removed content as seen here. You can always check the article history to see what has happened to the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:12, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: Your edit was fine. There was just a little bit of cleanup needed. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: You're welcome. =) Wikipedia and the community that has built is indeed a great thing. I hope that you stick around and decide to contribute to other areas. There are many, many things you can write about here. If I can be of any assistance in the future, please feel free to ask. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:10, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: I took a short break from Wikipedia, so I'm late in responding to you. I do have a habit of taking short little breaks from Wikipedia, so if something comes up that needs attention on an article, there are other venues available instead of leaving me a message. For example, the article's talk page, the conflict of interest noticeboard, or the dispute resolution process. While I understand you believe that the editor is Melissa Johnson, Wikipedia has a policy about outing people so please do not post further information about her. I have removed said information from my talk page.
Getting back to the topic at hand, as you can see, the issue seems to have been cleared up due to the edits by yourself and a couple of other editors. The issue was also discussed here. The edit history of the article that we had talked about before shows all of the edits that happened.
One final note is that on my talk page, it isn't necessary to start a new section every time you leave a message. As you can see, I've been merging our discussion into a single section at User_talk:Gogo_Dodo#Heal_The_World_Foundation_edits.... Threading comments like I have been doing here on your talk page the usual practice on talk pages so that the conversation can be kept together. So if you want to leave me another message about HTWF, you can click on the "edit" link towards the bottom of the relevant section. However, should you want to ask or comment about something completely different than HTWF, then starting a new section on my talk page is fine. I know it's a little confusing. =) See Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines for a longer explanation about how Talk pages work. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:36, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: If you look at the article history, quite a bit happened while I was away during the weekend. The article has been reverted back to the version on August 19th and the article semi-protected by Black Kite. What semi-protection means is that no anonymous or new editors will be able to edit the article at all. If you read the item about Flagged Revisions, you will have noticed that semi-protection was mentioned. Additionally, the anonymous IP that was doing all of the latest revisions was blocked for a month for making legal threats in one of their edit summaries. These actions should slow down attempts to remove sourced content from the article, though determined people could figure out how to make changes. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:02, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Thanks!

edit

Re your message: You're welcome. =) I'm glad to be of help. As for your question about the editorial policies changing, not quite. The media has blown the changes a little out of proportion. What they are referring to is Flagged Revisions. It has not been implemented yet. If you want details on what happened, see the Wikimedia Foundation blog. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:36, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: This is Wikipedia, there's an article on the History of Wikipedia. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:52, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re your message: You can create drafts of articles within your user space as sub-pages. To create subpages in your user space, you just create the article with a prefix of "User:All41and14all/". So for example, if you were creating another Micheal Jackson article, you would create the article at User:All41and14all/Michael Jackson. (You really wouldn't create another MJ article, but I wanted to give an example and that's all that popped into my mind at the moment.) You might find following these instructions a bit easier, at least until you are comfortable creating articles. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:02, 3 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
