Speedy deletion nomination of File:Space edited by AF.jpeg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Space edited by AF.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. funplussmart (talk) 01:30, 26 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

April 2019 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Caryl Chessman, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 23:08, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Forgive me for disturbing, I have no intention of doing vandalism against all articles, but I added about his/her life with nationality with flag. Thanks for your advice.
Alif Fizol (talk) 23:15, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry, I don't think you're vandalizing. You're just not following the style guidelines you should be following. The above is just a simple warning to get you on the right path.
I see you are adding the flag to a lot of articles. You should undo those changes. Adding the nationality to the infobox is (I think) okay in most cases; but the flag does not belong.
I'm moving your reply on my talk page here, so that the discussion is all in one place. A lot of editors find that easier to follow. TJRC (talk) 23:36, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. TJRC (talk) 23:12, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Manual of Style edit

I follow rule of Manual of Style. Thanks you TJRC (Wikipedia user). I will try to my best.

Alif Fizol (talk) 12:55, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Well, no, you're not. As I pointed out, in your edits adding flags to navboxes, you are not following the MOS at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons. Specifically, in my revert, I pointed you to WP:INFOBOXFLAG, a section of that guideline that says: Generally, flag icons should not be used in infoboxes, even when there is a "country", "nationality" or equivalent field: they are unnecessarily distracting and give undue prominence to one field among many.
Again, you should go back and undo those changes you've made that added flags in violation of the MOS. TJRC (talk) 18:32, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Louise Peete edit

I note you have reverted my edit to Louise Peete without giving a reason. The edit revolves around Template:harv and Template:harvnb. "Harv" is for use in parenthetical referencing, not for use in footnotes (refs), its use in this context is therefore inappropriate. "Harvnb" is the correct template to use in these circumstances. --John B123 (talk) 23:24, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Fix of Louise Peete edit

You can fix by using manual edit on Wikipedia. It's accident for you sorry friend (John B123).

No worries, we all press the wrong button by mistake at times. I'll sort it out. Cheers John B123 (talk) 23:54, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
