Hello, Aldi Duzha - Emsisoft. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:46, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dear,

I am not affiliated by Emsisoft and i am not advertising. I am an Emsisoft Employee, i have to update the Emsisoft Anti-Malware and that's what i am doing. You can see that the initial page was too old. I updated and added more info. Nothing more. Please understand.

Best Regards, Aldi — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aldi Duzha - Emsisoft (talkcontribs) 11:49, 16 July 2013

You are not advertising? You can write whole paragraphs full of such unadulterated marketing prose as "Emsisoft's analysis team keeps a close eye on the malware scene and is able to react to new threats quickly thanks to their extensive contact network. There are Emsisoft employees in almost any specialized forum, either officially or undercover. Not only does this help keep Emsisoft Anti-Malware constantly up-to-date, but also ensures you receive the best possible support for infections, including direct responses from developers and malware analysts where necessary. If you have enabled frequent automatic updates in Emsisoft Anti-Malware, you will receive the appropriate signatures for new malware outbreaks within minutes after onset"' ... and claim that you are not advertising? JamesBWatson (talk) 11:57, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, that might be a kind of advertising. I'm sorry. May i edit the article and remove these "advertisements" you said and publish the article? Aldi Duzha

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Emsisoft, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mdann52 (talk) 16:13, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, as you did at Emsisoft, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Mdann52 (talk) 16:13, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Emsisoft Anti-Malware has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Aldi Duzha - Emsisoft", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Staszek Lem (talk) 19:43, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
