Thank you for the kitten. As far as the name goes, have you got a source we can see? Something like a mention on a department document would be great. Dolescum (talk) 22:05, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Kindly go through below links http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/61495.pdf (page 3) http://itouchmap.com/?c=in&UF=-2108476&UN=-2927043&DG=PT http://books.google.co.in/books?id=o5ft2DfBJcIC&pg=PA1375&lpg=PA1375&dq=indian+govt+and+pygmalion+point&source=bl&ots=xmBmQ91IE2&sig=H7CIbtJ_RY2JVGeg92djINTfA68&hl=en&sa=X&ei=oE_nUpmRNcOPrQeJh4DQAg&ved=0CFUQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=indian%20govt%20and%20pygmalion%20point&f=false (look for a map)

I think you will now agree with my words. I'm new on wikipedia so your help in making necessary edits will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Hi, Aksj9211. I've had a quick look at your first and third sources. The first predates the 1985 name change and was published in 1975, so it would use the old name. I've seen the map on page 1375 in the third source, but while it was published in 1998, I'm uncertain that it's not just an error due to an old map getting recycled. Your second source seems to not to load for me, but running this search on that site does use the label 'Indira Point' at that location.
I've updated the page with a little information I located while taking a look into this. As you're new, I've dropped a welcome template below for you, so you can acquaint yourself with the bureaucracy that runs wikipedia. :) Dolescum (talk) 02:37, 29 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Dolescum, Thanks for your little and precious edit you made there. You did a meaningful research. It was nice to exchange some words with you, thanks.

Welcome!
