Notability of Bands

Hi there. Thanks for your contributions, I see you have started lots of articles for death metal bands. You should know that not every band qualifies to have an article at Wikipedia: we have a guideline for inclusion which you can read at WP:BAND and we also have a general notability guideline. If a band meets either of these, then they may be notable enough for an article, but not always. Please have a read through those guidelines before adding any more articles. Recreation of deleted pages, notability

Hi Ahazazel,

I'm not sure if you're reading these messages on your talk page, but I'll leave one more.

There's a policy at Wikipedia called notability that establishes when a subject (band/musician for example) should have an article. There are very specific criteria for when something is considered "notable." To say something is not notable is not to say it is unimportant or low quality, but simply that certain requirements haven't been met (typically this means there aren't enough articles written about the subject in reliable secondary sources). If you're going to create an article, be sure to cite lots of sources to show its notability. Repeatedly recreating the same articles without doing so will simply result in repeated deletion by an admin.
