Embassy articles edit

Could you please stop creating content-free articles which are nothing more than yellow pages entries? I've already listed one of them, for Belgium, for deletion. Let's wait till the discussion on that is completed, or I'll have to go and list all of your articles for deletion right now. Corvus cornix 21:56, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Embassy of The FDRE to The Republic of Italy-Milan, Rome, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. As a note, all pages starting with "Embassy of The FDRE" have been tagged as described above. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:44, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Embassy of The FDRE to The United Kingdom of Great Britain-London, London edit

A tag has been placed on Embassy of The FDRE to The United Kingdom of Great Britain-London, London, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Wikipedia is not an enbassy address book

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. EarthPerson 22:49, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ethiopian diplomatic missions edit

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Ethiopian diplomatic missions. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. You added a link to the embassy in Ottawa for all the North American capitals. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 22:59, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Ethiopian embassy in Australia, Vienna edit

A tag has been placed on Ethiopian embassy in Australia, Vienna, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Mattinbgn\ talk 12:08, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ethiopian Embassies edit

Hi Ahadu, I notice you have produced Ethiopian embassies; this is redundant because we have Diplomatic missions of Ethiopia. Could you please remove this article?

Please feel welcome to add to the Diplomatic missions of Ethiopia article in the style that is consistent with the other articles. And don't worry about mistaking Australia with Austria - George W Bush made this mistake when he visited Sydney recently! Kransky 01:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of ambassadors of Ethiopia edit

The article List of ambassadors of Ethiopia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Impossible to be kept up to date. No sources exist either on the article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
