So how would YOU present intelligent design?

edit

Do you have any credentials ? Better than the references I have read on intelligent design and on the DI website etc?--Filll 20:25, 1 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would start with the first paragraph and make a more full explaination of ID and how it encompasses the views of most scientists before the 1800's and the current 600 and growing scientists who infer design from their positive knowledge of the the specific characteristics of designed systems. Then I would add Supreme Court decisions that favor the teaching of all competing theories of origins (there are only two basic possitions possible BTW). I would label Judge Jones's Dover district decision as being just one case selected from among dozens that happens to bolster critic's disagreement. And I am justified in doing all these things because I would be describing the real ID perspective which is what the purpose of this artical is to clairify the ID side of the debate. It would be fair because critisisms would stay, but they would be labled as critisisms. The clairity of these NPOV guidelines is irrefutable in my view. I do appreciate your interaction on this. You definitely make a good point.--Filll 04:47, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Formatting

edit

Please note that you can use a colon to create indentation.

Like so.

It is greatly preferred to using blockquotes (especially nested blockquotes). Thanks. -- Ec5618 18:50, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Again, please use colons to format your comments. Wikipedia does not use hypertext markup. -- Ec5618 20:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, I'm brand new to the system here. I see what you mean. Much appreciated. Wish Wiki had spell check - does it?

I'm afraid spell checking has been deemed be an inefficient use of server resources. Server capacity is limited, after all, and WikiMedia is hardly bursting with money.
Oh, you may want to see Help:Editing, for a brief explanation of formatting. -- Ec5618 00:46, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I must be losing my mind.

I could have sworn I put a message on your page a while back but I dont see it on the page or in the history. I did send you an email. Check and see if you got it.--Filll 04:46, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok I posted a long political reply to Talk:Intelligent design/Raspor's and adlac's objections for your amusement.--Filll 05:52, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
