Nomination of Destiny Wrestling Organization for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Destiny Wrestling Organization is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

About Destiny Wrestling Organization

Hello, Adamtox31, and thanks for your note on my talk page! The article Destiny Wrestling Organization was deleted because of this discussion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Destiny Wrestling Organization. The problem was that the subject did not meet Wikipedia's criteria for having an article here. The criteria are laid out at WP:GNG and specifically at WP:ORG. There needs to have been significant coverage about the subject from independent reliable sources. Things like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube don't count because they are not independent; they are written by the subject. Your article did include one reference with significant coverage, this one, but it doesn't add much since it is from a college newspaper rather than a major newspaper or other source. The organization does get a passing mention from two "real" newspapers, Deseret News and another one I found in a search, the Chicago Tribune, but passing mentions don't add to notability. It gets coverage at wrestlezone.com and prowrestling.com but they probably don't count as reliable sources. Unless the organization has received significant coverage from major reliable sources it is not going to qualify for an article here. Can you find and show me any such sources? MelanieN Not sure how to respond to you but I appreciate your willing to help me get the Destiny Wrestling page back up here. There was recently this article on the company by Naratively and we have just had our page updated on Cagematch.
