Interface media group

edit

Is your intent to have the page deleted, as you created it, then blanked it?--Kukini hablame aqui 20:02, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm sorry, I was still working to finish the posting. I noticed that the name at the very top (the main listing) was not properly capitalized. It should be Interface Media Group. I guess I'm still learning how to do this properly. Verifiable references will be inserted shortly. Thanks for your help. It looks like it got deleted prior to your adding the sourcing and notability references. I will post a fuller welcome below to help you with future efforts. --Kukini hablame aqui 20:18, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. An article you recently created, Interface media group, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Rmasbury 20:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Interface media group. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Rmasbury 20:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Logo 30YearsSignature.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo 30YearsSignature.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:43, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
