Pizza Help

edit

I'm a rookie editor and may need a lot of help,so please be patient with me. Any assistance you give will be greatly appreciated.

{{helpme}} I want to make an article on a local Ohio Pizza chain called Belleria that originated way back in 1957 and is considered the best pizza in Youngstown. I am afraid that I might break the rules on advertisement but i want to let people be aware that it exists and that its a good product. How do I do that without getting kicked off Wikipedia?

Hello there, Ace Darville. First, it needs to be notable. Make sure it has citations to prove it, and letting them know it's a good product is already POV. Start out on a little bit of history, then, add the products, the references, and the links to the website. Feel free to ask me if you need more assistance :) BoL (Talk) 04:25, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

There's a host of information about adding citations here, and some detailed instructions on how to use citation templates in order to format them properly here. Pages are regularly patrolled for vandalism, so you should be alright. If it does get bad, you can always request page protection. Hope this helps, Gazimoff(mentor/review) 12:36, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Help - forgot password

edit

{{help}} I'm locked out of my account and cannot remember my password or create a new one. -Ace Darville

If you entered your e-mail address when you signed up, you can have a new password generated. Click on the "Log in" link in the upper-right corner. Enter your user name, and click the button near the bottom of the page called "Mail me a new password". You should receive an e-mail message with a new random password; you can use it to log in, go to your preferences, and change your password to something you'll remember.

{{helpme}}:: It gave me an error message saying I don't have an email registered to the account

You're a bit stuck then. There is no way to 'prove' that you are the account owner, so - best thing you can do is create a new account. Then, you could redirect this user page and talk page to it, copy stuff across, and sort things out.  Chzz  ►  01:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
