I finally got round to filling in some of the gaps in Shakib's article and was wondering what you thought of it? I was half considering taking it to GAN if it's not too turgid, and with no significant international cricket for Bangladesh before the World Cup (I think) it shouldn't take too much maintenance in the immediate future. - No, no looks good - well done :) I'm flat out in RL atm so i can't be onto a copy-edit straight away, however. Aaroncrick TALK 05:03, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

I hope I get to meet interesting people there. Check back sometime later, you can probably see me in the profile. He he. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

- OK good catch - question is when something like that is removed - to reinstate a new one which is not too close - is gonna be difficult :) - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Hesperian#Adenanthos_oreophilus for some frivolity on the issue with bots SatuSuro 10:38, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- and.... if you are in for some very glicky language try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Coren#Bot_blocked_2 that has concepts and words abd things more sticky than honey SatuSuro 10:41, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

The mysterious Jones...
editThanks for the copy-edits, but for the life of me I can't see Jones anywhere. I'm probably blind. --Sarastro1 (talk) 15:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- LOL. Not to worry, any help is appreciated so take your time. It's at GAN but it will probably sit there for a looooong time. I think Hughes will be there a bit longer too if you do want to chip in more. --Sarastro1 (talk) 21:09, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, Boycott looks fairly close. I left SGGH some suggestions when he asked for them a while back, but I don't know if he is any further forward with taking it to FAC. It would be nice to see more cricket at there. I'm hoping to try Headley at some point soon. I've a few brewing: possibly Yardley (which I suspect is too unbelievably dull to do that well, but that's just his career) and Waddington, definitely Bosanquet and Adelaide Leak (if it ever comes out of GAN). --Sarastro1 (talk) 21:31, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

editThanks for the review and copy-edit. The article still needs some work, and yes, I want to look at the sentences. I just stuck it up for GAN as the waiting list seems to last forever these days. If it ever goes further, it needs some polishing. --Sarastro1 (talk) 20:19, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! No, I don't know either. Keeping his head down from all the crap flying around? --Sarastro1 (talk) 22:48, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Far from it, it's not looking great but we'll see. Funny things happen around here. Cricket seems a little stalled at the moment. Maybe everyone is watching the Ashes. Sutcliffe is at FAC but has no chance by the look of it. I've some up my sleeve: Bosanquet is at PR, the very dull Yardley and Abe Waddington. Bosie is probably the best, so it may be first when it is reviewed. Then there are a few more brewing, so we'll see. I think Harrias may have at least one which he is aiming at FA, and there are ones like Boycott, but no one else seems to bother. --Sarastro1 (talk) 00:01, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

editAnother cricket article at FAC! If you are around at the moment, Bosanquet is at FAC. If you get a chance, comments would be appreciated, especially as YM still not around. --Sarastro1 (talk) 14:58, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
