Hello, A Bad Deli Ivy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to take the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit The Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! -- I'm inserting this "welcome" before other stuff. At least you got a teahouse invitation before a notice of your work being nominated for deletion. Most new editors just get hammered with the deletion notices.  :( Hang in there, it takes a little while to figure out how to survive here, but you're doing well and I hope you will keep up the good work! I'll "watchlist" here but please feel free to contact me at my Talk page any time. cheers, --doncram 01:55, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Follow-up: Yay, the decision was to "Keep" the article, congratulations! Hey, I am wondering out loud at the article's Talk page, though, whether it should be moved to a different title, perhaps something like List of facilities with 10-meter diving platforms. It would be great if you would comment there. --doncram 02:21, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Coordinates

edit

You've been adding coordinates for metropolitan areas. These are metropolitan areas, so adding a coordinate is pretty tricky. What source are you using to support your coordinates? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:56, 25 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree this is tricky. I am using the coordinate of the namesake of the region (principal city (e.g. Houston for Greater Houston) or geographic feature (e.g. Puget Sound for Puget Sound region). I am open to using a different point if there is consensus on what that point should be. Unfortunately, metropolitan areas, similar to a city or county, are not one point.
