February 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Giraffer. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Bo Jackson seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Giraffer (talk·contribs) 16:39, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Portuguese language have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to University of Lethbridge. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Serols (talk) 18:45, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Thermometer, you may be blocked from editing. Serols (talk) 18:55, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Robertjamal12. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Weather of 2018, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from November 2021 Pacific Northwest floods into Weather of 2021. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:03, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

We understand that block evasion has occurred at our school, however an entire school with 1,600 students. Is there any way for our students to be allowed to edit? Or for it to be anon only to allow editing at our school?98.116.128.15 (talk) 16:50, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am not going to grant the request, but I am formulating an answer for you here. Hold on. Drmies (talk) 16:55, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • So, you have a student (?) there who likes to mess around with weather-related articles. The block was made such that that person, and thus everybody else, does not have the opportunity to edit from y'all's IP address or create an account. So editing without an account is not going to be allowed. On top of that, I am not convinced that a school systems operator would be posting this on a Saturday. An official email (that is, one that identifies you as someone who has an official status at your school) to Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee might be a thing you can do--not to appeal, but to identify yourself and ask what can be done for educational projects, for instance. Without any kind of "official" identification, I am loath to go into further detail right now--sorry. Drmies (talk) 17:03, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Seriously, no one from our school can edit at all. Contributions history clearly show multiple people on the IP at the same time. We need something to happen because our school IP can’t be blocked for a full year.98.116.128.15 (talk) 12:29, 17 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You've been told how to resolve this. Follow the instructions given by Drmies. Yamla (talk) 12:33, 17 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
