Welcome! edit

Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

October 2020 edit

Hello, I'm DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered. I noticed that you recently removed content from Us (Peter Gabriel album) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

November 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Matryoshka doll—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 12:00, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why? Ivashko was one of the Soviet leaders himself and I have only seen him appear once. 83.226.235.200 (talk) 12:01, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
He fell into complete obscurity, and should not be listed in the series of Nicholas II and Peter the Great. Yuri Andropov, Konstantin Chernenko. Materialscientist (talk) 12:03, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't matter. He was still one of the Soviet leaders. There is no reason not to include him. I have, for a fact, seen him appear once. 83.226.235.200 (talk) 12:03, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Was for a few days. A dummy leader. Nobody remembers his name in Russia, and abroad. WP:UNDUE. Materialscientist (talk) 12:06, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I do and a lot of people with me. Why does it matter to you? He was one of the leaders. 83.226.235.200 (talk) 12:07, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

See WP:NOR. He was just a former leader of the party, and neither a country leader nor a ruler, in any sense. Materialscientist (talk) 12:11, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fine. I still have the right to discuss the matter, so there is no reason at all to include the   sign. 83.226.235.200 (talk) 12:12, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

January 2021 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. I am reverting unexplained edits. It is not even close to edit warring. 83.226.235.200 (talk) 23:39, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
