If you'd like some help with editing or otherwise, you can sign up at the new users log, post a question at the Help Desk, or ask me on my talk page.

Please sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. It is a good idea to read the most recent entries at the bottom of the Talk page of an existing article before making major changes to it, to see if your proposed change has been discussed before. Before I make a major change to an article, I often make a proposal on the Talk page to see if anyone minds.

Again, welcome! -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:51, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Evancho

edit

Sorry, but I disagree with the changes that you made to suppress the state names by piping. Readers should not have to click to figure out which state each concert was in. The other changes are OK, if you think they are helpful, but if you wish to build a consensus to suppress the state names, please use the Talk page. -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:50, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Ssilvers: This is because Jackie Evancho only tours across the United States nowadays. She needs to headline concerts in other countries! 72.92.40.158 (talk) 21:06, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to Jackie Evancho concert tours violates our guideline WP:BRD and has been reverted. I do not understand why you are suppressing the State names. If you can explain it more clearly, please make your argument on the article's Talk page, rather than here. Thank you. -- Ssilvers (talk) 01:53, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove an Articles for deletion notice or a comment from an AfD discussion, as you did at PSA Tour. The result was not keep, and the AfD was not withdrawn. Atsme📞📧 15:29, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Atsme: I have an idea. Maybe I should wait - without editing the PSA Tour article - until the discussion is closed regarding whether the article should be kept. I promise, I won't edit the article! 72.92.40.158 (talk) 17:06, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.
