Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page 1867 Romanian general election, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. In addition, you may want to complete the The Wikipedia Adventure or the Manual of Style to fully immerse yourself in editing guidelines. Sungodtemple (talk) 23:24, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

A fair number of things you think are "errors" are antiquated spellings or grammatical choices in quotes, and you need to stop "fixing" them. Some of your "modernizing" attempts are just careless. Just look at your edit at formic acid. Do you really think someone wrote a paper called "Concerning Some Un-Common Observations and Experiments Made with an Acid Joyce to be Found in Ants"? Who's "Acid Joyce"? From context, that's clearly an antiquated spelling of "acid juice". Also, you changed the sentence "Because of its high acidity, solutions in alcohols form esters spontaneously." to "alcohols from esters", which makes no sense. Additionally, the American spellings of words are not "errors" either. Egsan Bacon (talk) 23:55, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

User:Egsan Bacon, it gets worse than that--this has some pretty egregious and dumb errors (changing the Latin--look at it), and here, in their zeal to "correct" something that wasn't wrong (they clearly don't understand that there is such a thing as the German language) they actually break the image link. I'm going to block--this isn't worth our time. Drmies (talk) 01:31, 31 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Drmies Good catches. I was just cleaning up the mess the IP left in Sierra Leone. "She used diplomacy to communicate with many local chefs", "the Sierra Leone military overthrew President Kabbah in a coupon" - if that's ineptitude, it's really strange ineptitude. They broke some links there, too. Thanks for the block. Egsan Bacon (talk) 01:54, 31 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Tanta. Do not introduce deliberate factual errors. It is not big, it is not clever. 10mmsocket (talk) 15:37, 1 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
