December 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, UberStudent, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 10:22, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links/Perennial_websites#Facebook,_MySpace,_Instagram, "Regular websites are strongly preferred, but exceptions are made for official links when the subject of the article has no other Web presence." That is precisely the case here and this is a perfect example of exactly what the exception was made for. Facebook is the lone official internet outlet site where UberStudent, under its named founder who uses his real name, makes project announcements. Thank you. 47.12.225.19 (talk)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on UberStudent; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ~Gwennie🐈💬 📋⦆ 11:39, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, except the Facebook page is not "Verified" meaning we here have no idea if it is actually an official mouthpiece of just a fan's job. Elizium23 (talk) 12:13, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Here you go, from the uberstudent.org domain before it went offline: https://web.archive.org/web/20180615214959/http://uberstudent.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1315. The Facebook post is just giving an update from an official social media site absent another. No one is trying to create a false record about someone's son with leukemia!!!! 47.12.225.19 (talk)
You should be surprised what vandals come up with to try to deface the wiki. But good on you for finding better sourcing! ~Gwennie🐈💬 📋⦆ 22:09, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised at all, but I fully take your point. :-) 47.12.225.19 (talk) 08:27, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Tommi1986. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Carole King, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Tommi1986 let's talk! 19:20, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

October 2021 edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Phil Collins, you may be blocked from editing. You have had several past warnings regarding disruptive editing, and your edits from today are being reviewed in case more are necessary. I am going to strongly urge you to start utilizing the talk pages on articles to discuss your desired changes prior to continuing with grand, sweeping edits to articles.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Laura Donnelly. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Twila Paris has been reverted.
Your edit here to Twila Paris was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/release/14944299-Twila-Paris-Little-Twila-Paris) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. March 2022 edit

Please stop adding original research or your point of view. Even if it's factual, you need to add references, which you didn't do on James Spader and Boston Legal. Thank you. Editing8 (talk) 00:55, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Spongebob Square Pants is an animated fictional cartoon series that centers around the undersea lives of Spongebob, an oceanic sponge, and other anthropomorphized sea life.[citation needed]

December 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Tarheel95. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Christina Grimmie seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tarheel95 (Talk) 20:13, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2023 edit

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. –WPA (talk) 00:57, 7 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to UberStudent—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional.
