Lo scippo edit

There is something unclear in this article. I think the problem is the phrase "steal to". Something can be stolen from a robbery victim, or it can be stolen by a thief, but stolen to just doesn't make any sense. Can you clarify? EricEnfermero (Talk) 14:18, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

English grammar edit

I have tried asking politely about the issue with Lo scippo, but I have not received any sort of response yet. I placed a tag next to the incorrect phrase ("steal to"), but you keep removing the tag. Looking at your other edits, there are major problems with English grammar. Some of the errors are easy to fix, but in some cases it is impossible to determine the meaning.

An example from here: "The two stupid thieves stolen the Paolo's plane and combine an other group of thieves without a real experience for make the same robbery before Paolo's operation."

Most of the above phrase is meaningless in English. It would be better for you to edit articles on the Italian Wikipedia. Then a translation can be made from the Italian Wikipedia to the English Wikipedia (by an editor that is truly fluent in English and Italian). Your written English is just not at the level required for encyclopedia writing.

Thank you for understanding. EricEnfermero (Talk) 22:04, 6 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Wrong photo on Italian page of Nino Dal Fabbro edit

The photo of Nino Dal Fabbro with Sophia Loren is instead actor Franco Fantasia, please notice that! Is very hard write to Italian Wikipedia about errors!

Renato Mori edit

There is no need to add the subject's first name within the image caption. The surname is simply enough as the full name is already highlighted at the top left of the page. 20SS00 (talk) 06:13, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

That may be, but there is still no need to add in the forename of the subject in the image caption when it is a person. You'll notice that in almost all the articles about an Italian dub actor. 20SS00 (talk) 20:08, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to continue editing the page, you can add in more dubbing roles that Renato Mori has provided in the past. 20SS00 (talk) 20:11, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Regardless of whether or not there are more people across Italy with the name Mori, the image will still only have the surname and any attempts to change this will be reverted. Also, as I told you already, the full name at the top of the page is simply enough. 20SS00 (talk) 06:17, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is the second time I’ve had to remind you not to add the first name in the image caption of Renato Mori’s infobox. One time was enough, and I’m not doing it again. So I’ll remind you for the final time: The full name of the subject is already stated in the top left of the page and any further attempts to add the full name to the image caption will be reverted and you’ll see that in nearly all Italian dub actor articles. 20SS00 (talk) 20:33, 21 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
