This is extremely offensive

edit

Bobherry, imagine a 'This user lives in Germany' template using the nazi flag. Yeah, that's how offensive this template is for some people. 80.246.137.147 (talk) 12:49, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

By the way, instead of ignoring my requests simply because they are in 'the wrong namespace' (whatever it means), you should try to solve them. Sorry if I sound mean to you. 80.246.137.147 (talk) 12:53, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for not explaining WP:NS, A namespace is basically User: Talk: Wikipedia: The stuff that is before the name of a page. Bobherry Talk Edits 13:03, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
You did not handle my request. This is a serious issue which needs to be addressed as soon as possible. 80.246.140.239 (talk) 13:05, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
This is not a serious issue but rather a tempest in a teapot as it has been on the wiki without issue for almost 11 years. The help me template is not something to be used in order to bring people in to a discussion or to suggest changes to a particular article or template. If you want to do something about the userbox, take it to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion and follow the procedure there or reach out to the original creator to see if they would be willing to change it. The flag design on which Template:User Canadian in Japan is based, while best known in connotation with World War II, is not purely a "imperial flag"; it's the naval ensign of Japan and sees current use as such. If you're extremely offended by a flag in current use by a recognized country (which for the past few decades has been at peace and didn't bomb anybody), I suggest the issue is with you, not with those that show the flag.
