Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at MAC-10. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 14:09, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear, Loafiewa,
I am so sorry for my "unconstructive edits." I'm pretty sure the edits on the MAC-10 page was the part where it said the "type" of gun. See, I kept editing out the "submachine gun" part because, when I saw a video comparison of the MAC-10 and the Uzi submachine gun, I think I remember the guy in the video saying that he assumed the MAC-10 was a machine pistol, because (he didn't know this for sure) because it was more designed to be (very usable without a stock at all) used manipulatively carried with one hand (kinda like a pistol). His name is MarksmanTV, and I will post a link in the post-script below. Anyway, I also wanted to say, if this doesn't make you feel better, than I don't know what will: I'm putting some of the images back to the pages they came from before and fix things up. And, once again, if that doesn't fix things, then my Wikipedia name should probably not be 35canary84 anymore. But, that depends on you.
From, 35canary84.

Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Heckler & Koch MP5, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. As stated by WP:ENGVAR, do not change an article from one version of English to another. Dear, Loafiewa,
I am so sorry for my "disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting." What mistakes did I make on the Heckler & Koch MP5 page? Also, if this doesn't make you feel better, than I don't know what will: I'm going to put some of the images back to where they were before. And, again, if that doesn't fix things, then my Wikipedia name should probably not be 35canary84 anymore. But, that depends on you.

Please note: What "some guy" claims in "some video" on YouTube does not constitute a reliable source. Please do not restore this version again without proper sources and further discussion (here or on the article's talk page). - Adolphus79 (talk) 17:14, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Adding your own commentary to articles

edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to 1994. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:26, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear Ohnoitsjamie,
SORRY! I just felt like that Tyke the elephant should've gotten put in the article. Like, there have been more elephants that got abused in circuses, killed people on the day, and then get put down for it, like "Murderous" Mary, Topsy, and Chunee. I'm pretty sure I added Topsy to the 1903 article, along with the Electrocuting an Elephant film, and who tried to stop me for that?... Nobody. Like, I not I putted "original research" and/or novel syntheses, but, what text did I put in to have the whole thing deleted from the page? I found Tyke's article, and put some information in an August 20th subarticle of 1994, but, is there, like, some specific text that I shouldn't have put in it that I copied from other websites? If anything, this website is unreliable, too, d'you realise that? Like, I see references on, basically, every single page I look at. Those references appear to show articles from other websites, so, unless the references are there for a different reason, this website is a copier, too.
I hope I can find out what I did wrong,
35canary84.
P.S. If it is about Tyke, let me know what text I typed in that didn't belong. If not, you still have to let me know what happened. Then, I don't have to make the same mistake twice in a row. 35canary84 (talk) 23:03, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
P.P.S. When I said, "Like, I not I putted "original research" and/or novel syntheses,..." I meant to say, "know", not, "not". 35canary84 (talk) 23:04, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

National varieties of English

edit

Hello. In a recent edit to the page M16 rifle, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 07:03, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
